Taeshi is a genius. >:C Like Einstein. But less german.

Of course Abby would want all bullies to rot in hell. His mother was beaten by his dad when he was a kid. To Abraham, abuse is SRS BSNS. I thought this was smart ion Taeshi's part, because it was a good way to stick in some plot, character developement, drama and humor.
There's also the way she uses the comic panels to compliment the story. Sort of like when the panel boxes broke to show the bridge breaking ( I just don't like it when she ends the page's last panel in a big black void. She does that less now though. :'D )

SO ANYWAYS, gush about your favorite moments, character developements, and fridge brilliance situations here.

Ummm... I don't think anyone disagrees with her being a good writer/illustrator but its redundant to put on these forums because we wouldn't be here if she was bad at said skills.
  • #6

^I rather agree with that^
  • #7

isn't this the kind of thing you would post on today's comic's message board?
  • #8

we all know souppy is the actual genius behind BCB. IF he hadn't been there to be alls like "SIMMUH DOWN BIATCH (SLAP)" Taeshi might have gone on to attempt higher level forms of free expression art or attempted to integrate local influences into her art. Yet thankfully Souppy, the man he is, crushed her will and forces her to make this comic. I thank the world for producing such a man and hope we can learn from this scenario.

I don't think Taeshi is Jewish either.

I mean, she could be, but I don't know.
  • #16

Would you hold it against her if she was? :nope:
  • #17

if i can't hold being a man but woman at the same time against susan then i don't think i can hold being jewish against taeshi, but i would have to start posting jew jokes and eight crazy nights
  • #18

Taeshi is about as Jewish as I am.

Which is to say a 100% devout, faithful Jew.

WOW Jerk calm down! that was a hard J- you just dropped! you can't just drop j bombs like that, you gotta understand context. As a doctor, i am prescribing a season 2 episode 2 of always sunny in philly. that should cure your misuse of "hard J-dropping"

Taeshi is not a genius, Taeshi is a good writer, but not a genius.
  • #35

GEE APOC MAYBE YOU'RE RIGHT BECAUSE TAESHI'S MASTERPIECE THAT IS BCB ISN'T GENIUS WORK AT ALL. :nope:

Actually, I class anything that I read and find absolutely, incredibly brilliant to be the work of a genius.

I count genius, as someone who makes a contrabution to
the world, or someone with and IQ over 170

This post has been edited by Apoc: 27 December 2010 - 09:43 AM

1. an exceptional natural capacity of intellect, especially as shown in creative and original work in science, art, music, etc.: the genius of Mozart.
2. a person having such capacity.
3. a person having an extraordinarily high intelligence rating on a psychological test, as an iq above 140.

By that definition, basically everybody is. A baby is a genius because it brings happiness to its parents. A homeless man is a genius because he causes distribution of wealth through his actions. ^_^

Ouch.

But I can't disagree.

"The pangs of truth doth hurt thy soul, yet truth as clear as day it be." Or so they say.

Jokes aside, I do quite believe in that, though.

I believe everyone is differently special, meaning no two people are the same.
