Uh oh, I guess you win the moral victory hahahahahaha. Plus it's not that I don't love you too, I just like fucking around with TwoKinds fans. They are very sensitive about their badly written furfag cheesecake. :.D

@ Migrant: I love you when I'm sober too, I just don't get on IRC with a BAC less than .15.
@ Rawrdinosaur: God speed, you brave little trooper.
@ ContinentalBreakfastMissile: I wouldn't rule it out just yet. He may be the missing link! (See also: Sam Bradford of the St. Louis Rams.)

God too many web comics, but I'm sticking by my promise so far I've read betterdays and the other one on his sight (was ok didn't like how it did random leaps forward in time)
Twokinds I had already read liked it don't know what but I did I think the fantasy maybe idk.
Questionablecontent I had already read. like it for the most part but it drags at time
Tryed to read goblins but the art style and sentence structure put me off
Tryed MS paint adventure didn't like the comic style not gonna finish.
Already read slightly damned. Same opinion as I have for questionable content.
LFG had already read really like but it updates too slow
XKCD had already read really like bc I'm a nerd
Egscomics had already read. Usto like before I had finsih HATE IT now because he takes to long to move along with the damned plot!
Read some of cynade and happyness probably not gonna continue bc I've read most of the comics in their book
Had already read VGcats like it because I'm a nerd

Thats all I've read so far and I have a long way to go. If your looking for a funny comic that has no fourth wall try the order of the stick Giant In the Playground Games

I kinda liked them it made me think about my opinion and what I thought about their opinion and things of that nature. It didn't bother me because they weren't really in your face about it till the second comic they just sorta worked it into the plot in the first one.

I love it when comics take whole years to get through a single fucking arc. :nope:

Plus, if you're a webcomic fan, you know how often you'll get excuses instead of updates.

I feel bad about complaining about things like that because it's free entertainment, but it's true. To me, BCB is odd because it updates more regularly than most of the comics on TWC.
  • #114

The other side of that coin is that some artists work harder than others to maintain their fanbase. Regardless of writing and art, you come down to all these little factors that make some popular and others fail but the bottom line is that I don't want to hear your story if you can't tell it fast enough unless it's interesting enough to wait for. There aren't a lot of things I can say that about, but they do exist.

At any rate, I intend to contribute to these artists when I have something to contribute.
  • #115

The one thing I find slightly sad about this is when people spout utter bullshit about where the writers got their ideas/motivation /etc from, unless the writer themselves has told people this. It happens sometimes, "oh he only did arc x because of this random event that occured to him", when it's just crap made up by someone. :P

As for arguments, forums always end up with arguing. Hell, it happens enough IRL as well, even between friends. It doesn't help that most people are impatient intolerant jackasses though who love to be massively condescending when arguing and butt in in the middle of someone explaining their POV.

Prime example is when someone is arguing because they simply don't understand something, but nobody explains it properly so the argument gets worse and worse, and the person who didn't understand get's looked down upon for that. Silly people.

But, argument and debate is certainly interesting. At the very least, it's a fight for your pride. ;D

For daily hilarity and penis jokes SMBC

for the only comic nerdier than XKCD, try DARTHS AND DROIDS

For a comic nerdier than that, Irregular webcomic

If you want a comic with a fourth wall so broken it only has 2 1/2 left, try one over zero.
  • #117

Ok next batch of comics I read yay close to done!!!

I realized I had see there she is and I remember liking it a lot not a web comic though is a flash series
Awkward Zombie was funny, but not constantly enough for me to want to keep reading it.
Did not like brawl in the family was not funny, had no plot, or anything really nothing interesting about it...
Eyepatch-tan was stupid enough said
Exterminus was trying to be funny, but was just stupid
Nuzlocke was so very stupid that it was funny. When it tries to be stupid it is bad
Sequential art was intresting, but I haven't read enough of it to have an opinion yet.
Leisure town will probally give me nightmares I only read one and it was really creepy
Pictures of sad Children is awesome, but its so sad I lose motivation to keep reading it and have to go away from it for a while then start again

I think I've read all, but 5 listed here and I probably won't comment about them here because you guys don't seem to care.
  • #118

Seems like most of the webcomics I read are already here. Let me add a few more:

Suicide For Hire - Suicide For Hire - Thursday , February 28 , 2013
A comic about two teens who run a business helping others curate their suicides. Most of which are really gory and tells a tale on why it was curated that way. It's really entertaining and rather thought-provoking at times because of the debates and political undertones that are presented. Word of warning though, most of the strips are huge textwalls. So if you don't like long-winded stories, this probably isn't for you. It's on hiatus now though.

Broken Plot Device - http://http://www.br...plotdevice.com/
Often random and doesn't really follow a plot sometimes, but it does have its moments. It usually concentrates on comedy rather than serious tones so it's pretty lighthearted. That said, it has quite the diverse cast of characters. (Random trivia: this is the comic that introduced me to BCB. ;))

And I'm really surprised this hasn't been posted yet:

Oglaf - Comics. Often dirty.
Follows no plot and has no stories. Think of it as a Sunday newspaper comic, only this is more beautiful, funnier and contains porn.

Just like to mention one of the web-comics Rawrdinosaur talked about, sequential art. It is comic with lots of good humor and the art gets great as you continue reading on. It has some interesting story arcs and the characters all have their own brand of comedy :)

In my opinion, Sequential Art loses it's steam in the later chapters. Other comics that could be lumped in the same category is Questionable Content or Dominick Deegan (which was never good, it just get's progressively worse and worse).
There's a whole list of comics that need to die (ones that have ran far too long).

After reading this, I tried to swallow my pride and read through his new comic... but the current arc is just commentary against socialism in furry fat kid form. I can take dissenting opinions on the cheek, but not obtuse chauvinistic conservatism.
Jay Naylor is probably the most ironic comic maker in existence.

Thanks to massive public outcry (one person) and me accidentally setting my house on fire in minecraft I decided to read more web comics yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyways.....
Allan is interesting though it lags at times. Its basically a blog in comic form with some humor thrown in.
Subnormallity I don't get the author uses the comic to say his views, but tries to hid it badly. This could be forgiven if he had another point to the comic or even a plot, but it lacks both. Also MASSIVE BLOCKS OF TEXT it mentions this on the title page so it is forgiven for that. Idk I just don't get it.
Blip I want to like, but the plot gets distracted to easily and it isn't engaging enough maybe if I read it more I'll like it, but I don't wanna.
Badass Muthas is awesome... if you like fighting scenes. Thats basically all it is well drawn plot relevent fighting scenes. It is only 100 comics long bc the auther either got bored, suffered a tragic accident, or ran out of ink for his pens and hasn't bought any new ones.
Housepets I like a lot. It is furry (my definition anything with anthropic for ease of definition) so it has to have some romance, but not that much and its basically a light hearted humor comic. Is very weird when they are pets, but have same intelligence and speech and thumbs as their owners so there kinda like kids at times, but then they have animal stereotypes to them it kinda weird. It loses point for talking about the game.....

Badass Muthas is dead. The author released the plot and basically said that he was done.

@Moosack I wasn't sure what happened it ended in 2008 and the author was talking on the homepage about starting again so I just decided to say that to cover all my bases.

Penny Farthing Press Presents the Free Online Comic: Luci Phurr's Imps: A Children's Story for Grown-Ups

Am I the only one who thinks the main character looks like a white Lilo from Lilo and Stitch?
  • #131

Well, there's this one little webcomic I've been following for a while, called World of Fizz by one Rob Blake from Tennessee. No, not the actor.

It's a simple gag-a-day strip about an anthropomorphic family of foxes, which sometimes develops story-arcs, but mostly sticks to laid back situational comedy with the occasional fart joke. Rob just draws it for his own amusement, so don't expect anything shiny, though I do like the style.

Although it's been called "a furry version of Foxtrot", Rob doesn't like the term very much.

It's pretty obscure with only a hand-full of regular followers, so go and check it out.

...Oh, and one of the characters is a not so shy female feline of a colourful orientation. Kthxbye.
  • #132

Wow, a lot of people hat TwoKinds. It's not bad, per se, but there are much better ones out there.
Also, all of the comics on :: THE KATBOX :: are excellent. Especially Caribbean Blue. The other major one on there, Las Lindas, a lot of people hate on that one, to.

I disagree. The storyline isn't shit, it's just "meh." It started out cool, what with the whole "completely forgotten that you were an evil villain" thing, but after that it's just "meh." It's not shit, though. As for the artwork, I actually quite like the artwork. So, I guess we differ in opinion, then.

Jerk: Yeah I probably wouldn't care that much about Twokinds except for the fact the fans act like it's the indisputable champion of the webcomic world and have some desire to make it some sort of competition.

Like I recall on the homepage once a commenter was like "oh BCB is my fave along with twokinds" and it's like innocent and stuff, right? Like, who cares? Just stating their two favourite comics?

But some fan appeared all "HUH, BCB IS OKAY BUT TWOKINDS IS JUST BETTER GUYS JUST BETTER, BCB MIGHT GET THERE ONE DAY"

and i was like jesus christ why does there always need to be some sort of debate on what is better whenever Twokinds is brought up. Twokinds and BCB are incomparable. The only thing they have in common is characters possessing fur and tails. Nothing else is similar. They're different genres.

People just get SO DEFENSIVE about their liking of twokinds. I noticed a review of it once that was pretty fair and said it had a lot of flaws, but there was something about it that attracted fans and it was just a "it's okay" review.. and man did the comments EXPLODE. People just TANTRUMED. It's like a sacred cow of the furry world or something, geez.

.. and i just don't see how
  • #139

Taeshi, the last paragraph of your post has brought humor into my day.
  • #140

I thought Jay Naylor's shit was the sacred cow of furry
  • #141

For some reason at least half the readers (or more) of TwoKinds seem to be people incapable of understanding that other comics even exists. Personally I like Tom's style and storytelling but as of late his update rate has been slower than once a week and the latest pages have been more-or-less pointless regarding the actual story.

I think the last time I recall there even was story progression in TwoKinds was last year, but that's probably just because of the huge breaks between updates.
