Why the hell is everyone saying Paulo is being a baby/bitch. All he wants is to spend some quality time with Jasmine and is sad that she is unable to deviate from her plans to be with him. It's not just one Saturday, though. At least, not according to Paulo when he says "Is there even gonna be ONE weekend where we can hang out?" So, yeah. Well, so we hear the other side of the story. Here I sympathize with Paulo: it's hard to make a relationship work when you never see each other. Both persons have to compromise and make time for each other. That might mean, for example, Jasmine dropping some activities and Paulo focusing more on Jasmine than his other girl friends. Pretty standard relationship fare, actually.
Hope Jasmine and Paulo can patch it up. Compromise is always a good thing to learn.

What lengths? Paulo bought some tickets, but he has no after-school activities or anything he'd have to sacrifice to spend time with Jas, unlike Jasmine whose schedule is often booked.

Paulo appears to be putting effort into trying to be with Jasmine, who puts zero effort back. One thing to note, she hangs out with her friends plenty in class. I don't think it's too unreasonable to skip a day of shopping to be with your boyfriend. Otherwise, what's the point of having the boyfriend?
Note, they share zero classes together, not even lunch. They can only meet after school. Fair enough she's got extracurricular activities, but like ONE weekend. Just one. Hell, one SATURDAY. And now he's considered too needy? What the hell, seriously.
I mean Paulo did slip candy into Lucy's locker (Which was for her BIRTHDAY, admittedly he never wrote "happy birthday" in the letter, it was all implied since it was gifts on her day. But in Lucy's case, even though she was moved by it she knew it was just a friendly gesture, not a way to bang her). He wasn't asking her out, he wasn't dedicating extra time. Jasmine's a great friend to Paulo, but I'm thinking the two may not be cut out for a relationship... they don't get along like Abbey and Daisy (who seem to be the only two besides Jazzy and Paulo who are actually a legitimate couple). It's too bad Paulo can't be with Tess. She actually seemed like the best match, they actually did love each other.

Actually, according to Paulo at the beginning of Back and Forth, they never did. Paulo couldn't stop thinking about Daisy and decided to stop it at first base.
With the most recent revelation of Rachel, I find PauloxRachel adorable again, but I only consider it wishful thinking because it's really pretty unlikely

I'll explain what I meant. It's more than just Paulo giving his Halloween candy to Lucy for her birthday. He also went to considerable lengths to support Daisy in her candidacy in the student elections. Of course he did the same for Jasmine as well. He's a big-hearted guy, Paulo is, and always ready to help his friends, but I think he may be spreading himself just a bit too thin here.
Now Jasmine knew that Paulo helped Daisy, and she made a joke out of it at the time. But at the same time, I wondered whether she was secretly feeling a bit jealous or insecure that Paulo was helping out other girls just as much as he helped her. And additionally, we have Paulo's little addendum on his note to Lucy: "Please don't tell Jazz."

I think it's because we're all still mad at Paulo because when the fight was first mentioned, seeing as how flustered Jasmine was, we though Paulo had done something wrong. We went into it with that mindset.

I still say the whole thing between those two is futile.
I miss Tess. Despite the age/grade difference, she and Paulo connected on a level of love, rather than a level of enhanced friendship (which is what I consider Jasmine and Paulo to be, essentially just friends) with Jasmine, or a level of one-night-standom with Jess and Rachel.

Back when they were just bad friends instead of angsty love/hate? I did like that.
Of course, i still love the comic now. Newer characters like Tess, McCain, Jasmine, Jess&Rachel, Abbey, etc... All add to the variety and plot of the comic and made it even more interesting.
Especially McCain. I kind of worship him at this point, I just love how he's essentially a midgety demigod of truth and logic.

I do favour TessxPaulo above the other Paulo-ssibilities. Same reason as Crit, really. Much more meaningful relationship in my eyes, there. Like Jerk, I do miss the early BCB situation, where Mike and Lucy were slightly more than just friends. But then again, we were sort of thrust in at the deep end and told; "these two are friends or maybe more deal with it". Not a bad thing, 'cause it set the stage for awesome.

While I do miss TessxPaulo severly, Mike and Lucy in the start just wouldn't make as good a story as now. Whereas TessxPaulo can make a very good story, as it did again for a short while. (and it's starting to creep back again.)
