Can't really say that about myself, but I've read on some other forums how peeps had spam from 1997 lying around. Talk about "past the expiration date"...

Ancient letters in your e-mailbox
Have you casually browsed through your e-mail lately and discovered that you've had a letter several years old, which you forgot to erase at some point? Or kept around on purpose?

I've got a registration message from Nintendo that dates from 2001, asking me what the problem with my Gamecube was. I think that's what it said, but half of it is written in Japanese.

The entire "Novel" folder of my email is filled with messages that I keep religiously. Hundreds of them.

The oldest thing in my inbox is from 2006, but that's because I never have gotten around to cleaning it out.
That's right. 1957 emails in there, and over 800 of them unread.

The first two emails on my current account. I used to have a super old email called pika*** (you don't get to know my first name
)back when I was, like, 7. Back in the days when they had to be 7 characters long, and your ISP made your password for you.

Naked pictures of an ex-girlfriend, I swear to God. Which was sad because she was hot as Hell.
Oh well. I did the honorable thing and deleted them.

I've had mine since I was sixteen, so it's alright. I got it from a quote in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"

My parents had me and my brother clean up and fix their computer a year or so back and while I was searching through and deleting some of their old e-mails I found some stuff going back to around 2001 or 2002.

last year I purged my email of useless and old messages, it took about 2 days and there were something like 2100 total emails. now there's something like a 1000. I have kept some emails in folders from old instructors and teachers from about 4 years ago.
