MMG 11 - Turning the Tide. Willkommen, Soldaten, Offiziere und Zivilisten!
Therese stepped into the bathroom, her arms crossed. "Looks like we're in danger after all. Didn't I say we should pair off? See what happens when we don't listen, everybody?" She smirked grimly, briefly.
"So, is our spy our murderer? Or is someone among us taking this opportunity to make the American a scapegoat?"

"Did they do this so she wouldn't make a sound? And that wound, it's a bullet wound alright. I can smell the gunpowder, and I am taking note that her skin is warm. Which means she was probably killed within the last hour or two." she said.
"And it's Janin-A!" Janina said in reply to Therese.

Therese stared at the symbol on the corpse's forehead. "Is it possible the ... poor dear was murdered somewhere else? And then dragged back here for us to find?"

"Perhaps not. We cannot tell how much she bled into the bath to stain the water so." Achin stepped forward, leaning close to the girl's forehead, examining the mark and the gunpowder-esque residue. "The killer may have been standing directly in front of her. I have seen many such deposits on the wounds of those executed." Achin shrugged again, straightening up and putting his leather gloves on.

"Huh," said Lena dispassionately as she saw the limp corpse lying in the bathtub. She did not appear to be the least bit interested in what had happened; it had not happened to her, nor to... him. So why should she care? The nurse turned on her heel and crossed her arms, facing the wall, while her back was directly against the bloodied scene of crime.

"I would not be so sure. Unlike Herr Bauer, I do not associate myself too closely with the intricate workings of the body." Achin turned away from the bathroom, considering the burned-in afterimage of the dead body in the tub. The star obviously meant that a sympathizer out for revenge was among them.
But it could always be a red herring. Scheisse...if only the Fuhrer had not called away the other guards. Achin cursed in his mind, clenching his gloved hands into fists.

Ambros had walked into the bathroom normally, but his average rage and intolerance was silenced as he was shocked by his sister. His own sister, such a good child, slaughtered like an average Jew! The small black heart in his chest seemed to beat once more futilely before finally giving out all together, what little humanity he had seemingly snuffed out. He appeared absolutely enraged as he looked over the corpse, but asked emotionless,
"What evidence have you gathered? Was it the Allied spy?"

"What makes you think her tounge was not cut out to keep her quiet? If the killer did kill her in the bathtub, then he would have done so quietly. Perhaps that wretched star and the bullet hole were added after her...Mathilde's death." Achin glanced at Ambros, hearing his question. If his temper was as short as reputed, then he would most likely be very difficult to deal with.
"We do not know, yet. It could be that the spy and the killer are working together, or on their own agendas. Either way, it is quite clear that someone here very strongly sympathizes with the Jews." Achin reminded the group imperiously, folding his arms as he spoke. "For now, I suggest we bury Mathilde." Achin looked to Ambros for confirmation.
He could be either a powerful ally or a most dangerous enemy. Mentally, he must be fragile and on the edge. Achin frowned again, stepping out of the bathroom.

Someone in here killed this person. Someone murdered them. I could be next, this is obviously a trap of some kind, keep your wits about you Matthäus he though to himself.
He stepped out of the bathroom, moving to one side of the door, if it was a trap, he didn't want to be caught in it. Retribution, Bauer he thought whoever this is, they're definitely against the nazi party.
He grimaced, and peered at the people inside the small bathroom.
One of them
"I agree with Achin, let us bury the body"
He also turned to face Ambros

"Her body will be buried immediately."
His face was still contorted in a deep rage and determination, the only emotion he expressed in his actions as he considered everything. He turned to the Generals in the room, looking over them formally before standing up straight.

Jutte had stayed in bed while they examined the body. After a few grueling minutes, Mathilde's body was carried out much to Jutte's dismay. Blood leaked out all over her floor and Renate immediately moved to clean up the mess before it stained the woodwork. After that, Jutte -- with Renate's help -- attended the small makeshift funeral for Mathilde in her backyard. Due to the absence of a pastor, Dietrich filled the spot and she was covered with a spare Nazi flag and buried in the chateau's garden. After they had paid their respects, the group gathered in the drawing room to discuss a plan of action.

"I believe we may have multiple killers my love, I doubt an American spy would kill that young girl, she had no important place in the war. Even if the star on her forehead meant she was a jewish sympathizer, the spy wouldn't have killed her for that reason. There must be 2 or more killers, or maybe..."
He holds his glance while in deep concentration
"Maybe she was just a trick, to throw us off track. Either way, we need to closely watch these people. I don't intend to die here, I still have much loving and drinking to do."
He chuckles a bit
After hearing Dietrich's statement, Poldi holds on to the strap around his shoulder, keeping the Kar98 on his safe on his back.

he then sits back in his chair, "if you couldnt identify the bullet how would checking our sidearms help anyways? its pointless." he then turns to poldi. "poldi, a kar98 is a rifle, he said sidearms."

"Sergent von Hammersmark, I will acquiesce, for the sake of progress, as it is worth investigating our armaments, even if futile. The sooner we find this vile swine, the sooner I can personally attest to their punishment." He pulled his own Mauser C-96 from his breast pocket, placing it on the table.

"You are a massive waste of time and everything you've said so far has been useless. Obviously, this gentleman is a Sergent in the greatest army in the world, and has worked to achieve that rank. We already know he's better than you, but you've definitely proved it with your ridiculous outburst."
He turned to the man in question, giving him a nod and saying, "I thank you for your continued efforts, Sergent von Hammersmark. If you would continue."

Therese sneered as she crunched an empty cigarette carton, irritated that she'd already smoked her way through the whole box. She let it fall to the ground, staring daggers at Janina. "They heard you. They disregarded you. Bite your tongue, little girl. Or by all means, keep screaming! Maybe you'll annoy the spies back to America and save us all the trouble!"

Ambros put his arms behind his back, making sure to stand in as authoritative a stance he could summon with his years of training and work.
"We are going to break into effective groups and we are going to search for clues while keeping track of all of our locations. After we check the weapons, because it is helpful to analyze all possible clues. But, by all means, scream again and waste time. And our ranks are important, because we are men with years of training and service; you are not. Now refrain from speaking unless you suddenly stop being useless in the time between now and then."
He turned away, still not wishing to expand the energy to get actively angry, glancing at the weapons on the table at the moment before looking to everyone with a sweeping glance.
"Now, can we please? If not for a solution, then as an act of trust?"

The Third Murder
Katrin von Levi is sitting in one of the drawing room's chairs, her throat slit and blood still oozing out. Her eyes are glossed over and in her jacket pocket there appears to be a rather small piece of paper sticking out. Blood coats the front of her jacket, pants, and is pooled around the bottom of her chair. Her jacket is open and her shirt appears to be ripped, the star of David having been etched into the flesh on her chest.
