Ambros, do you:
A. Open the book (you can opt to make your findings known or keep them private. If private, I will PM you the details.
B. Pocket the book for a later time.

Entering the room, he saw a woman in a red dress being carried out, wearing a red dress.
He quickly identified Amalia von Rudenstadt as the victim, and followed the people toward the back yard. Scanning the area for anything out of place, he quickly discarded the incident as an accident, then walked to a corner to watch proceedings.

Ambros turned to the group, making sure to catch the attention of the Generals as he held the copy of Mein Kampf aloft, along with a small strip of paper and the scrap of black fabric.
"This appears to be something far more interesting than dinner. This book has been tarnished, hollowed out in order to hide letters and messages from the U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence! Now, this fabric appears to be from a SS Officer's epaulets, but given the circumstances, a torn shoulder is the least of our concerns."
He held the items tight to himself, silently declaring they were not available for inspection from all those gathered. His face screwed in anger, looking about the congregation and declaring,
"I believe this requires immediate action!"

"And just what are you suggesting, Kriminalrat Ambros? That there is an American spy among us? That this spy killed Amalia or that she was involved with espionage? It was a simple tragedy, Herr Bauer. I don't see any evidence pointing to a different conclusion."

"Well...things just got interesting!" she said with a smirk. "One of us is a spy?"
Janina's smirk faded once she realized the situation she was now in. She glanced around looking at each face. It could be any one of them, well, except Poldi.
"So...that's it there's nothing else around here? Come on! Look harder!" She ordered.

Ambros wore an angry smirk as he continued to berate the owner of the home, elaborating on his ideas. "I believe that the destruction and this death was an unrelated attack. Nothing more, nothing less. This book, however, is something different. I believe that the most likely answear, given the damage of the tome, is that is was here to begin with, in about the area where the explosion was set off; that would be upstairs, Miss. Klien."
Ambros quickly looked at Janina with contempt, saying with a vile hurried tone, "Young lady, this is a job for military officials. Not a scavenger hunt; I ask you leave evidence gathering to those of us who are trained to gather evidence. Now who would that be?" He turned back to Jutte, adding, "Oh right! The Gestapo! Interesting how that works? Miss. Klien."

She then turned to Alois. "Are you dense!?" Janina said angrily "There's a killer running around! Eating is a pretty good way to kill us all at once." Janina sighed.
"I think we should meet in the dining room, but not to eat. We need to discuss the matter we have at hand NOW! Not stuff our faces with vulnerable food!"
Janina crossed her arms. Waiting for other people to agree...hopefully. That is if they listened to her.

"Yes, Herr Bauer, I am sure the Gestapo excels at the collection of evidence and police duties. Refresh my memory, Herr Bauer, but seeing as I am wholly inferior to the training Gestapo officers receive, I was unaware being trained in taking out political targets your... Fuhrer points his finger at and being the Jew Terror Squads had anything to do with the collection of evidence." She smirked before taking another puff on her cigarette. "Unless that falls under 'forging evidence', something the Gestapo seems to excel at."
She chuckled watching the Nazi official's face turn bright red. Another cloud of smoke came from the edge of her cigarette before she walked through the group and motioned towards a door at the other end of the entrance hall.
"This event is a tragedy, yes, but the food is getting cold and I want to make sure I can get Herr Bauer something with fiber before that constipated look on his face clogs my toilets. Please, sit down in the dining room. Renate and I will enter with your food shortly."
She tapped her cigarette over a nearby tray and let some ash fall off. She sauntered off towards the kitchen where Renate was waiting for her and immediately began preparing the dinner for transportation. Plates and silverware found their way to a large metal cart, and Renate stuck her head out of the door to find an infuriated Ambros shouting at a lowly soldier, taking out his anger on him. She winced as she heard a smack and turned back to Jutte.
"What did you do, mon cher?" She asked, frowning at her friend. Jutte chuckled and kissed her secret girlfriend on the cheek. "Do not fret, my love. He is just... bringing the troops into line."

"Well...where is everyone? Man are they slow! Jutte said to WAIT in the dining room so now were doing that, everyone WANTED to eat. NOTE: This is a "safe" period. You are free to socialize, talk, discuss the deaths, whatever you want until this time is up. During this time you are free from death and heavy-weighed choices. Make use of this time as during the normal game you will be granted much less time to discuss the murders at all.

"The wine is good. I quite enjoy the fortuitous events that led to our residency in this fine country." Achin chuckled delicately, gesturing around the table. "But of course, you are right. Perhaps we should devote our precious time to identifying who the snake in our midst is." Achin relaxed in his chair again, resting his ankle on the opposing knee and looking around at the others.

Janina stood up from where she was sitting next to Poldi.
"We need someone to make the overall decisions, who should it be? Also, we have to be careful about what we do. The killer is among us, it could be any of you. Even you are subject to being a possible suspect 'Mein Herr' Bauer." she said mockingly at Ambros. "A buddy system sounds good from the get go...but we'll need a group system, that'd be a lot safer. There is safety in numbers. As for the case, I have no leads, and I don't think I have any evidence with me right now to support any accusations. That's my thoughts on this so far."

"You really don't know anything. We are facing a spy; not a murderer. Stop saying murderer. It is wrong. The person who died today was crushed to death by falling debris from an explosion caused by incoming enemy fire. They had no time to prepare; the most the spy could have done if it was not our oh-so-hospitable host is inform the Allies of our arrival. So, I think we can correctly pin that woman's death on 'the Allied forces we are at war with' and 'explosions' rather than one person in this instance. And the evidence is this book," he said, patting his pocket, "and I'll be sure to look into that with other highly trained men."
Ambros, finished with his angry spiel, sighed deeply, frustraed with the entire conversation he was forced to participate in. Rubbing his forehead in annoyance as he considered the situation, Ambros looked up at Therese, saying, "No. If we 'choose' a leader, it would be from the highest ranking officers here."

"Ladies and Gentlemen, it is getting rather late out and I would please ask you to finish whatever pressing matter is currently the subject of this conversation and go upstairs to your rooms. You will find all of your luggage unpacked and a pair of fresh pajamas on your beds. There are enough rooms for everyone, so you will all be sleeping alone. You will find your names besides the door to your room. Danke schoen for your time."
Jutte took another bow and left the room, shutting the door behind her. She strolled down to the kitchen where Renate had just finished cleaning the dishes and slid her hands around the girl's stomach. She lovingly kissed her girlfriend's head before sighing and motioning for her to get into their bedroom.
"Come, mon cher, it is getting late out and we must be up early tomorrow to cook breakfast." Jutte said sweetly. Renate smiled and kissed her goodnight before disappearing into their room. Jutte sighed and walked over to a nearby wine rack. With the twist of a bottle and swish of wood, she had disappeared down into what was once the Free French Forces countryside headquarters.

He continued to stare her in the eyes before breaking his glare to look around the room sleepily, giving each person a small nod.
"To the rest of you, goodnight. I'll be in my room if there are any pressing issues that require my attention. Please inform me of any developments immediately."

"Well, ladies and gentlemen, I think I shall head upstairs. Good night to you all." He said quietly, leaving the dining room and heading for the stairs. On his way up, he paused, looking over the banister toward the caved-in wreck where Amalia had died. After a moment, he sneered and continued on his way. He found his room with little difficulty, settling into a chair facing the window and taking a cigarette from his uniform jacket. The small sticks of tobacco were in quite high demand, though not so much among the upper echelon of the SS. It was a rare vice the general enjoyed, as he sat watching the dull flashes of light that could be either lightning, or the furious battles on the coast splitting the night. Eventually, he clambered into bed.

She found it hard to fall asleep. For one, there was a killer running around, a spy to make it worse. Not to mention the annoying rage machine Ambros tends to be.
"Ugh, that guy's a real jerk. But he can't be the spy. There's no way. The real spy wouldn't underestimate anyone...I wonder...who was that other girl. Janina let the thoughts flow through her mind as she laid in bed. Waiting for sleep to overpower her.

The Second Murder
Mathilde lays dead in the bathtub, the once pristine water now colored a dark crimson with her own blood. The star of David is carved into the flesh on her forehead and on the tile next to the bathtub lies a gruesome message.
"Retribution, Bauer."
In the middle of the star of David on her forehead is a small circular wound, reminiscent of a bullet wound. Her eyes are wide open in shock, and she is completely naked.

"My apologies, Herr Bauer. It seems your kind-hearted sister has passed on." Achin muttered as he moved aside, leaning on the doorframe, nodding his head at the body in the bathtub. He had seen the star engraved on the girl's forehead, and now surveyed the rest of the group closely.
Someone here is not best pleased with our Gestapo friend. None of us are safe. First a spy, now this. I think I shall be keeping my gun close at hand from now on. Achin mused as he let his head turn back to the message left behind. His face tightened in suppressed rage at the sheer gall of the whole event.

"Isn't this girl, Ambros's sister? Yes it is." Janina reassured her assumption after reading the message.
Janina moved forward to look for anything that may have been left behind. She also looked closer at the wound. Was it really a bullet wound? and from what kind of bullet? Janina asked herself these questions while looking for more clues.
