So I was just on candybooru, there were 2 edits up, and I submitted my own. not two minutes later, all three were gone. Then, I submitted a different edit, and that too was deleted. Another pic was put up between then of a conversation between Mike and David, which is still up. Are edits no longer allowed? None of the four edits had any foul language or indecent images.

Just put them in "the edits thread"...

It's actually written there, please don't post anything in the booru unless it is either A) original or B) had a lot of effort put in
If it got deleted, then just chuck it on tinypic and put it in the edits thread.

You have to do more with an edit than just paste some (text) dialogue in a bubble of an otherwise untouched comic. They require more effort, like some people create comprehensible edits using panels from various pages. So yeah.
