technically the "first world" "second world" thing etc refers to the cold war
"first world" was the US and its primary allies (UK, Aus, etc)
"second world" was the communist bloc (USSR, China)
"third world" was everywhere else
so yeah, i think technically since brazil wasn't a primary ally it's third world
