I love war movies, especially ones that feature air combat.

But since it's by Lucasfilms, I fear they'll add Jar Jar Binks / anachronistic racial stereotypes.

As someone who prides himself on being a WWII buff, I am ashamed that I never heard of them until now.

Look on the bright side because it could be a hell of a lot worse, if it were done by Michael Bay there would be watermelons or grape juice painted on the planes

Also, you probably haven't heard of them because you are a racist and the history of African Americans does not interest you.

lol I can actually empathize with them because no one south of the border has ever heard of Canadians in the war either

correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't war horses in WW1 one of the most obsolete forms of combat for trench warfare? would they not get stuck in the mud worse than infantry and present a bigger target for German gunners? I can see this being more about a man's throbbing hard-on for a horse than about some silly war going on in the background. It'll be like Paschendale, only there will be a horse instead of a half-assed love interest

Horses were an essential part of combat in WW1 for the fast movement of men, guns and information. A horse can make it through very difficult terrain faster then a man ever could and keep going through it for longer.

My friends invited me to see The Adventures of Tintin on the 23rd, but I just couldn't bring myself to go see it, I just had a really bad feeling about it... I mean, from what I'd seen they seemed to have gotten Tintin and the Thompsons right, but Captain Haddock was what I was worried about; he was the shit in the cartoon show. Fucking up his character would have ruined the whole thing for me, so I pussed out. Anyone seen it? Is it good? Bad? Is it true enough to the source material? Did they fuck up Captain Haddock!? I don't see David Fox reprising his role as him!

I recently came across one that was kinda hard for me to describe. Called the FP, it's an odd B-movie-ish satire that has an old 80s vibe. "Gangs" duke out out in the form of DDR matches to gain dominance over the local area. What I liked is that the movie treats a lot of silly subjects so seriously, and...well, if it comes out on DVD, it's best to see it with a group of friends who have nothing else to watch on a Friday night.

Haven't seen Cars 2 yet.
I have seen the Original "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and loved it.
I have also watched that Rubber movie Kaxbe...it was so confusing and stupid it made a part of my brain die.
I've also seen "In Time" and "Immortal" both were pretty decent. I can't remember what other movies I've seen recently.
