So where do you like flying? In the real world, a friend and I buzzed a lake at 500 feet in a 2 seater, was the best time I've ever had. I'd love to try that at 5 feet in a dream.

The fact that I was eaten by a tree should give you some clue as to what my dream worlds are like. (Fucking incredible.)

I don't accurately remember my dreams. Describing them would be like watching random intervals of a movie, so I think it's pretty awesome that anyone can recollect them to a point.

Man, why do you even bother being awake? I mean, I suppose we'd mourn your loss, but, really? Full control over a dream world? It'd take pretty long to get tired of that, I imagine.

This is going to sound kind of gay, but it has to be said: this is all only really limited by your imagination. The more interesting things you read, see, do and hear while you're awake expands the capabilities of your dreams.
Try to think of just one thing every day that's so cool it sends an involuntary shiver down your spine. I think that's what it would be like to exercise your dreaming capabilities. I could be wrong, but it works for me.

I remember the feeling of being flying was so great.
The dream had a deep story, too. They were beaten by their foster parents almost every day, until the day they discovered they could fly. When they flew off to flee their raging step father, the step father got a shotgun (whut?, yeah), and killed one of the brothers. When I woke up, I wanted to write a book out of it
I have no idea why I dreamed this, I'm not orphan, and I have only have an older sister >_<
Too many movies, I guess?

All of my dreams involve either massive amounts of money (the good ones) or horrific, terrifying mutations (the questionable ones).

So, one night, I was dreaming with them, chasing down my friends, and following me while a runned (A dream that almost always finished with me being devoured).
But then, a voice in my head shouted "PAUSE!!".
And the alien that was about to eat me, stopped in the air. Then I though: "Is that my dream?" And the voice said "Yes".
Then I realized that I wanted a shotgun... and it appeared in my hands.
I shooted to the inmovilized alien, and then I started chasing the rest of the aliens, while they runned away from ME. It was great!.
Some week after, I dreamed that I had a pet alien. After that, I wasn't scared of aliens anymore

I awoke in a realm of nothing. There stood a door, I walked to the door and grabbed the handle. As I opened the door, I stepped into a world of chaos. I stared as I saw people shooting at each other and their was looters and muggings everywhere. I stared in disbelieve as one man was grabbed from behind and was being eaten before my eyes. The creature then looked up at me and hissed. It start trudging towards me as i swerved to the left and knocked it to the ground. As I tryied to recover from my shaking, it stood up and screeched. Suddenly thousand more came from corners and windows running, walking, and/or crawling towards me. Before they could take me, A helicopter flew over head and a man grabbed me and pulled me in. As I blinked wildly at and and screamed "Where the hell am I!" He looked at me with a smile and replied " Welcome to Zombieland!" I smiled. It was a great dream.
Bet most of you can quess how it went.

Trick is to trick your mind into going into the "dream state", which essentially means lying there keeping yourself awake by thinking but completely stopping moving your body. Absolutely everything. It requires massive self control to do, but when you can do it well, you can essentially shut it all off given time, and turn it back on when you want to.
At least, that's how it works for me. I always have a degree of lucidity in my dreams anyway...
As for my best dream, this was just something spontaneous, wasn't lucid:
I was working doing some job I enjoyed so much, though the dream didn't consist of that, I just knew that went on. The dream itself was me hanging out with a bunch of friends who I just fucking loved -so much-, one of whom was this awesome girl who was with me, if you catch my drift... We were in some field, talking about stupid shit, on a summers day, and world peace and all that crap had pretty much been solved.
tl;dr Best dream ever was of a perfect world.
To be honest, being able to fly would be damn cool, but c'mon, perfect world, you can't disagree with that.

I was dreaming and had some adventures before "waking up".
After realizing that I was still in a dream, I decided the easiest way to wake myself up was to pinch my arm or something, so I tried -- but was numb all over and couldn't feel a thing. So I walked into my living room and stood on my head, hoping that falling over would wake me up.
I fell over and woke up in my bed again, before quickly realizing I was still dreaming.
Shortly afterwards, I started freaking out at being trapped in my own dream, unable to actually wake up.
Then I woke up.

Except for that one dream where I was just sitting in some couch, eating Peanut Butter Sandwiches. Then I woke up. See, and that was the most memorable one.

I'd say the BEST ones i have are the ones that involve my girlfriend. (Not like that, you.) Partly because it's cool that way and partly because i get to laugh at myself about cliche it is in the morning.
It's cool sometimes when i'm able to continue dreaming into the ringing of my alarm clock. I'll never forget one time when i was a kid where i was somehow looking at myself in the third person, talking to some other people in my house. The alarm clock rings. I (the me i'm looking at) say "gotta go" and run up the stairs behind me. Then i wake up. Simultaneously freaky and awesome.
