I like Paulo, but I am really adoring the concept of Paulito/Pablito.

To be fairly honest if I had to choose that wasn't Paulo, I'd go Pablito. Because that feels more like a real name and whenever I say Paulito, I feel inclined to say Pablito instead.

its like the pussiest name ever it doesnt commit to any ethnicity
it is too white to be pablo and too hispanic to be paul
smoothie is a fun name, it sounds sweet and cute and like that cold refreshing drink full of delicious and healthy fruit you drink on hot summer nights when you are lounging back in a comfy chair on the balcony of your expensive home with your lover
it represents love and passion and purity and innocence and true bliss, and is the perfect name for a cat like this
so dont diss son cuz smoothie is the best one so get some sense

The rule of thumb which I see you are mad not adhering to in your choices, is either giving the cat a long and convoluted name, or a two-syllable name to which "the cat" can be naturally appended to (the best example being Maggie the cat). "Paulo" and its variations fail both these tests and therefore should be considered after better options are exhausted.

Examples of the first genre - François Muffinbottom, or anything that follows the trend Muffin + preposition (Muffinsides, Muffincross, Muffinup, Muffinexcept). Buttfranklin. The Audacity of Dawn's Cannonade, or any name you would use in Exalted. MURASA MINAMITSU.

Examples of the second genre - Scuffy, Tugboat, Tommy, Flotsam, Pickles, Andy, Kilroy. (fact: Scuffy the cat is the best name for this particular kitten)
