I caught laryngitis and now, because I am on immune system inhibitors for my Crohn's, I have to take some apparently aggressive form of antibiotics.

If he was walking down the street and you ran up to him acting like his biggest fan, he wouldn't be grinning and posing like a hero, but he also wouldn't be pushing you aside telling you to get out of his way.
He would just simply deal with you until you were satisfied and left, or until he came up with an excuse for why he has to leave.

Good Lord, calm down. I've had Crohn's my entire adult life and it's under control. The only problem is that I caught a bug. It happens.

Don't think I don't appreciate the concern though.

Anyway, it is, (nameless). Basically my body attempts to fight off the natural bacteria that live in my intestines that help me digest food. The repercussions of this is tissue damage all along the digestive tract. I lived with the fissures for two years before someone found them because it was just normal to me. I think the only thing that really caused me to end up at the doctor's at all was that my weight had dropped about forty pounds.
