North Korea
Y'know, it's a damn shame. The U.S. is the only country to ever have dropped a nuclear weapon on another country, and since that moment most wars have just been pissing contests. And then a bunch of countries decided they didn't give a damn about mutually assured destruction.

^^^^^^those were the only options

The only options you are allowed to know about at least.

Ok, I can think of another.
Have your wars be basic pissing contests, decided that you don't give a damn about mutually assured destruction, or have some god danm peace.

I've heard a theory that Kim Jong-il is trying to stir things up so that Kim Jong-un can ease the tensions when he comes to office.
I hope this was intentionally hypocritical. If so, haha. If not, seriously?

Nono, I don't think you quite understand all there is to know about NK.
Try this:

Ok, so it's a little big. BUT it's true.

Only 8% is dedicated toward communist teaching? Thought it would be higher...

Well, we were all well aware that Kim is insane. I only wish he would lose power somehow, without the people being hurt...

A contagious virus that only kills evil pricks like Kim?

Well, no.

You should be more selfish folks. Propaganda or not N. Koreans would have started a revolution a long time ago if they had it so bad that it was unbearable.

kim is a dick
kim is developing nuclear weapons while everyone else is destroying theirs.
kim isoppressing his people, at least a little

Why can't people just give hands and sing together?
Oh, yeah, that'd be stupid.
But I blame patriotism for stupid wars. I guess I'm a bit anarchist.
But, being North Korea a sovereign country, there is very little that any other country can do.
Actually, I don't think the UStates recognize North Korea as a country, does it?

War, it never changes.
weapons, armor, and the reason for starting war, that is all that change.
robotics may even enter the field, but Man will always be there.
But its all the same in the end, Man killing man.
Even the most wicked man at one time felt conviction for his acts, and ignored it.
Those that would abuse their people rather than lead them.
Those that Defy all suggestions of peace and compassion.
Those that kill christians for no reason other than they are what they are.
History has already set it in stone, They Will Fall.
(... ok i have to say it) And Shepards We Shall Be For Thee My Lord For Thee.

It's not as simple as that. If we invaded unprovoked there is a chance China might back N Korea. China just doesn't want US troops with unbuffered contact to their border. But, it's pretty unlikely we'd invade unprovoked.

@captianBaconMan.
I agree. If we invade unprovoked it could cause a world war or something close. But I know that N Korea will stall plus what are they gonna do launch a nuke at us? Well if they do the'll get one right back at them. So I'm not afraid of them.

Simultaneous and untraceable nuclear terrorist attacks at all major North Korean military and political sites, blames on radical Buddhist groups from Burma (Myanmar).
Or, at least that is what the news will say...

Actually, I heard somewhere that China isn't really behind N. Korea [citation needed], though a lot of Americans like to think so. N. Korea is essentially isolating itself from the rest of the world, so if they decide to provoke a war, then I don't think anyone will object to the militant removal of the N. Korean government.

China supports NK, but it was recently made public by the wikileaks release that china had very little control or influence in general over NK. NK would be nothing without China but China can't tell them what to do
- #75
- 06 December 2010 - 12:20 AM
So, basically china dose supply NKorea with supplies (such as weapons) but they dont actually control them.

Exactly

- 06 December 2010 - 02:42 AM
china supports them a little, but if war came there is no way they would support Nkorea. might support us, because their economy is dependant on ours, but they would probably not get involved.
as for untraceable destruction of military facilities,
why destroy the facilities when about 100 well planned and executed assassinations and about 100 men can give you control of the entire nation.
i just need to save up a little more money.

And 1 man (or woman) could destroy an entire nation. Hit a few weak points and the strongest empire will be on it's knees overnight.

its safest to hit a lot of weak points however.

Personally, I'm pretty sure China wants Kim Jeong Il out of the way. He is little to no use of an ally, being bat shit crazy, and the only reason they help him is because North Korea is actually stuffed with natural resources. If war does break out, which it probably will since we Koreans are so ill-tempered, China will probably help S. Korea and the US in trade for the North Korean territory, or at least a large part of it.

It's our own nature as humans to work towards self-destruction.

Yeah, but we're also the only sentient species on this planet who can introspect. We've got to change it then!
There's gotta be a way!

Nature is not magical, it doesn't just automatically produce organisms that are perfect at adapting to the world. Sometimes intelligence actually complicates survival.

Sure, but however it happened, we have the capacity to think about what we're doing and change. Let's use it to solve some of these stupid problems.
