First, why the hell do I keep checking in on this topic???

Anyways, I never watched My Little Pony, as I am a boy and such thoughts have never crossed my mind. But I am not ashamed to say I thoroughly enjoyed Powerpuff Girls. Alongside Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, and all the other shows in Cartoon Network's stellar lineup, it was one of the best. I love it. Shut up.

Probably unwise to rez this thread, but it made more sense than throwing it elsewhere...

So. Wind the clock back an hour or two. I was bored. Very bored. So having let the whole pony thing slip by me as a weird fad of 4chan's, I decided to just take a quick glance at it on Youtube, see how cringeworthy it was; I flicked around to find the first episode, queued it up, set it going and HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME.

Seriously, what the hell is UP with that show? Anything with the title "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" has NO GODDAMN RIGHT to be THAT GOOD. Sod the loss in manliness points, I'm watching the whole thing from now.



...why weren't MY childhood cartoons that damn good?

Yappy because like, the art is done really well which draws you in, the characters aren't necessarily girly so it doesn't turn off the male audience. The episodes are generally interesting and it has a hint of magic mixed in. Also I mean, there are so many pony parodies.

I believe the episodes are broadcast on The Hub cable TV channel on Fridays. By the following Wednesday they're pretty much guaranteed to be on Youtube.
