I watched that episode with the student newspaper. This show is still doing feeble morality tales, why are you watching it?

I'll admit that I found the scene with Rarity ignoring her loli pony and puts peacock feathers in her trilby funny enough to laugh at, but there's not much else. This is a mindnumbing thing to watch as an adult.

Did anybody else think that the episode should have ended with the CMC biting the bullet and letting Diamond Tiara publish those pictures of them, both to break her hold over them and as penance for publishing everypony else's private lives? It would have been a perfect opportunity to have a wrong action be punished without any major character getting her hooves dirty. At least they didn't get rewarded for what they did like Rarity in Sweet and Elite, though.
