Yes, if people want to split off and do their own thing, Saturday will be a perfect opportunity for it. If it costs $40, that's more than some will want to spend, and we could instead all reconvene for a late Saturday dinner.

Also, "troublesome"? I don't get it. The worst conventions can be is boring and same-y. But there's usually interesting toys to buy, half-interesting things to watch, and sometimes interesting people. This seems to have the interesting people for sure.

Still haven't heard back from these people, except that when we sent a followup "did you get our email?" the person said "Ah! I'll forward it to the right person straight away."

Boring is troublesome to me haha. Definitely not going to buy anything while at the con or probably watch anything unless the group watches it together. The people are probably the only thing of interest for me. I'll just see the ratio of who is going as to who will split and not go, and decide from there.

These people need to get on it, mmmhhmmm.
