HEY BUDDY, you actually should give DR2 a try, it's a pretty fantastic game especially if you have a friend to play with.
And about Dead Island, that stupid girl should have ran faster, why in the world was she so far away from her father. Did they send her alone to go get ice or something?

I would be more excited if that was a movie. How many horror animations do we have? Like, none. (Resident Evil Degeneration, anyone =P)
But it's going to be a game. Chances are it won't be as awesome. But, here I am, hoping ^_^

Just how it is made.
the forward part and the bacward part meeting at the end of the video, in order to reveal how the whole thing about the girl happened (since it's start with the girl falling from a window and then cut to her, still alive running from zombies) it's truly well done.

I'm sure you're right, when I see it in the bargain bin, I'll give it a shot, but there are too many games taking up my time to bother with DR2. Besides, Killzone 3 comes out on tuesday.

Killzone 1 and 2 were almost the same game, they were like riding a carousel at a snail's pace while being shot at with spud guns. Annoying, and boring after five minutes.

I love how "It has zombies in it" immediately means "Oh, well, I have seen this all before! No one can ever create something new and interesting in THIS genre, no sir!"
Really, why mention a single franchise of games that for the purposes of naming we will call zombie apocalypse games? Let me ask, does Dead Rising play like Left 4 Dead? Do either play like the original Resident Evils that had zombies? Or even the newer ones? Just because it has zombies doesn't mean it's going to be identical to every other game, and even if it is, could one think that maybe they might improve on it? Make a better Left 4 Dead style game, which is unlikely, because why go through the trouble to make another L4D game when Valve has done two? I'm saying that having zombies in a game does not make it into a genre. Hell, lets look again at the Left 4 Dead series with a quick Google search, just to be fair. Survival Horror genre. Dead Island? Oh, weird, this says Horror Action Adventure! Hmm. Well, I'm sure another zombie game will be exactly the sam-oh, what's that House of the Dead? Rail Shooter?
You know what? This has to be wrong. I mean, I can't look at games like Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Killing Floor, Typing of the Dead, and Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse without seeing the same game! They are all so identical! Really!
Oh, and while I personally love the trailer, about the game? We still know next to nothing about the game being good or not. But the people they hired to make the trailer are really good! And I hope the game can live up to that.

Then why not say them? Just saying "I have reasons" isn't really helpful. That's like saying "Yea you're sick with a rare disease and we have the cure but you can't have it. Rest assured knowing that we have it". You need to actually give us the reasons, and by saying "tis the fact the game doesnt look like id like it" you gave us the most important one. If you really don't think you'll like the game then hey, whatever. That's the most important thing!
And rather than say "do not speak to me about the grammer of this post, for i am fully aware of it", why not just fix it? It's not too hard, even on the Wii.

1, thank you for getting the point, some reasons are the fact the trailers too mushy, makes the game seem... less violent, and the fact that, well, a hotel doesn't actually seem like a good place to me for a "zombie Apocalypse." there are more, but i dont feel like posting them
2, i dont know how to fix it thats why (i suck at proper grammar, screw full sentences)
3, i used spell check in this post.

I'd rather it didn't have the regular retarded hack'n'slash thing where everyone walks around with their weapons held at the ready ALL THE TIME. Plus, the kick attack looks way too Dark Messiah for my tastes. First impression of combat is pretty good. I heard that as you go through the game, faster and stronger zombies begin showing up, until they sprint like humans and can crush your skull in their hand. Sounds...eh. I like slow zombies in massive droves, personally. However, I like the first-person aspect, makes it easy to be sneaked up on if you're not careful, which is great. The combat itself seems a little clunky, and did I spot MMO-style weapon crafting? Baseball Bat of Swiftness or something? Delicate Baseball Bat? Wtf, guys.
The zombie's movements are realistic, which is good. The grapples look awesome and tense, and being able to decapitate them is beautiful. At least we get cars, which will be good for (I assume) avoiding the more dangerous beasties that appear at night. If they don't crank it up at night I'll be a little disappointed. Punching out the windshield is a nice touch, too.
MMO-type quests, more disappointment. Only because I thought it would be a bit more like Just Cause, but actually fun. Maybe they should just go the whole hog and make this a bloody MMO.
Realistic gore, always a massive bonus. Guns should take a fair bit longer to reload. Seems a bit unrealistic that random survivors know how to swap out a magazine as fast as a trained soldier. I really hope the weapon crafting doesn't result in "this weapon is the only one you should ever use ever" type stuff, like WoW where every bloody endgamer has the same bloody gear.
