I found that the key to smiling showing teeth is to open your mouth a little so that you don't show any gums and also not to clench your teeth together when doing it, just have them lightly touch each other.

Damn haha that's how it was for me last November, we had to keep redoin the photo until I figured out what the fuck they wanted from me, which was teeth. And I'd always been self conscious about my teeth so it didn't occur to me I was doing anything wrong. I'd just smile enough to make it show up in my eyes.
Also, I should add that grabbing my ass during a photo is not an effective way to get me to smile. Manual manipulation of my buttocks does not suddenly cause me to realize what you're demanding of me. Usually.

Yeah, they were sixteen or seventeen, a lesbian couple. One of them went missing for a month, which was awful. Naturally, they both lost everything but, to my knowledge, they lived happily ever after.

Yeah, it's recovered fine. A good portion of the city (like the part I lived in at the time) wasn't effected except for wind damage and losing power for a couple weeks. The neighborhoods that were on canals, like my grandmother's neighborhood, were mostly these rich and expensive places so they were all rebuilt if at all possible and demolished if not. The schools are very well funded around here so they were rebuilt if they were damaged at all as quickly as possible, and the churches have tons of donations and volunteers of course. Any other damages were quickly cleaned up by the beautification committee, which is a big deal around here. Aside from a few shops that were sold to knew owners and turned into different things because the old owners didn't have the money, the town is back to how it was pre-Katrina.

do not want.Anyway, about the not showing teeth thing. A lot of folks with braces/suchthings or just 'uncorrected' crooked teeth seem to be a little shy about them. So not wanting to show them in photos generally becomes a habit. Me, I just don't like smiling.

Me as I am right now. Just got out of the gym and I'm really tired. Decided to take a picture because this is probably the last time I can wear this shirt. I struggled for a good five minutes to get my arms through the sleeves.
