That's the best out of a series of pictures, but thank you. I sported that mo' without a beard for the amazing length of about 5 minutes. Just long enough to take the picture, then shaved it.
And while prostate cancer is srs busyness and men above 50 should be aware of it and have regular exams or whatever, it's not the main reason I support Movember. Prostate cancer in men above 50 has a very low mortality rate anyhow and is very rare in youger guys.
Men's health issues also include a much higher likellyhood of developing mental illnesses than women, including depression, schizophrenia, bipolar and more. On top of that, due to cultural impositions, men are much less likely to seek medical help for any health problems, which means they could go unchecked and grow for a long time. These two things combined can be really bad when one gets in a mindset of "I'm not gonna visit a shrink, I'm not crazy or anything! I just gotta man up and get some booze!". I know a lot of people who think like that, and I've had to struggle with getting rid of this stupidity in the past myself. So this is what Movember is about for me. "Man up and don't be afraid of seeking help, ya big wuss!"

Finally graduated!
I started reading BCB right about the time I started grad school. It has always been my go-to, late-night study break, putting aside the rigors of the course work and reading about some catty discourse between...well, cats. Now that my tenure has come to an end, I am happy to hear that BCB will not be. I may not be, by any means, an active contributor to the forum or comments sections, but I will always be a fan of this comic and Taeshi's work. She has undoubtedly deserved all the appraisal and accolades that have come from this webcomic. It has and always will be my guilty pleasure. So even though I'm done with school, I hope to see this bad boy through to the end! No matter where life takes me after graduation.

Haha, thanks guys. Yeah, I wasn't exactly thrilled about the color either (technically lilac). The funny thing is that it is the same color as my high school graduation gown.
Lilac is for Dentistry. I think it should be for cake too. I'd totally double major for that.
