I found MtG to be too complicated, and based on the fact that I had recently lost interest in every other card game I played, (yu-gi-oh, pokemon) I decided to not even try it. That, and I had nobody to play with since card games weren't that popular around where I live back then. this was when I was about 7 or 8.

Magic: The Gathering is serious business and it's played by adults. Stuff like YGO is for little kids.
Playing MtG properly is kinda hard for me, though, since I don't have a decent deck. Luckily, it's not all that hard to get cards and I just yesterday ran into some offer that allows you to get a free pre-built deck from your local card supplier.
A perfectly good reason to buy some new cards at the same time

The thread is real life picture thread, it never specifies I have to post a pic of my actual self, so heres a picture of a badly drawn raichu in a composition notebook that I took with my laptop camera because I don't have a scanner.
And heres a pic of me when I was screwing with my laptop cam when I first got my laptop [I never said I wasn't gonna post a pic of myself, just that there was no technical rule against it on this thread]
Bad angle, and i'm not much of a looker... so yeah...

I was playing MtG tonight.
With a burn-whatever hybrid red deck I beat exactly the kind of a deck that's supposed to work against it.
Namely one with no creatures at all; its point was to constantly rise the life of its user and to make the opponent discard their whole deck. (If you have to draw a card and you have none, you lose)
