Bonus Comic - Another Chance

Because there isn't a thread for the new bonus comic yet, and the old one is 31 pages long...

So, what do you guys think? Will it be the obvious Augustus x Daisy, or something else?

Its either that, or someone else interfering (probably Mike).

I'm guessing it is Augustus x Daisy though, so no one steps in. But we shall see.

Oh that's quite alright. Canon means it follows the reality of the story, for instance. If Taeshi drew a picture of Mike floating dead in a fountain and said "This is canon" than it is true to the story (unless she were trying to fuck with us which I would be immediatly inclined to believe) however if it is not canon, than mike isnt really dead and it's like most of her other booru work and is not related to the story.

Another example: Disaster Dominoes is not canon, because none of the characters are in those situations.

HOWEVER all this aside, the fact it's an "alternate reality" (as far as we know which is lol one page so far) makes it just possible to be canon...only...not canon, it would be an alternate reality which is a whole nother ball field. But like most incentives it probably isnt. Guh, too confusing and it's fucking 12:50 AM. I'm just going with the smarter decision and saying the incentive isn't canon unless Taeshi say's otherwise.

There's always one of those cages around. And with every new joke comic or non-canon incentive there's a guy on top of the cage who looks at his watch and says "Right, time to let a couple more out".

Alright Augustus, time to just make out with Daisy because you certainly won't rape her I'm sure. Abbey definitely had to stay at home for family game night.
I'm actually pretty happy that Taeshi decided to do one involving the Daisy and Augustus part, I can't wait for the next couple of pages.

This incentive certainly should clear up many misconceptions people have had on "Love My Way." These "another's" help with character depth, despite not being canon. Hypothetical situations are just as good as the path that is actually taken in canon, in that respect. So like JB, I'm excited to see how this plays out with Augustus' actions in mind.

With that being said, I personally would enjoy viewing the final chapter as both the actual canonical ending, and the alternate ending as an "Another path" incentive (if having 2 endings is still the tentative plan of the comic ending, that is). A random thought: having the final chapter of the actual canonical ending occur concurrently with an TWC incentive of the alternate ending. Either that, or I guess putting one ending before the other on the main archive. There really are a lot of unique ways this comic can end. Should be a good time.

well i guess this one won't be as nasty as the last,
so i guess it means that augustus was misunderstood (he did say a few pages back in the canon that he wasn't going to rape her to lucy... O_O_ but then when she went he said something along the lines of "a challange" completely contradicting himself? maybe i am think to hard or maybe he would have raped lucyD: )

Intriguing. A comic that focuses on what would have happened with Augustus and Daisy, if Abbey hadn't been there to intervene. I agree with Purin that this incentive should settle a few board disputes concerning Augustus and "Love My Way".

Personally, I think that without the opportunity presenting itself to flush Abbey from hiding and make wisecracks of him, Augustus would have been rather gentle with Daisy. He would have still pursued Daisy, maybe more than she felt comfortable with, but he'd have simply given her a gentle kiss. That is to say, Augustus wasn't lying to Lucy here; he really did only intend to make Daisy feel appreciated, though still with the ultimate goal of making her his girlfriend. (Of course, in the canon, Daisy didn't see Augustus' approach that way, and she subsequently told Lucy about what she thought was a rape attempt by Augustus.)

I think, well, that last incentive is over. It's probably safe to vote at school. Of course, instead it looks like attempted rape, confusing my friends to whom I claimed it was lighthearted and humourous.

On the other hand, this should be intersting at the least. I have no idea where it will go, but I fear Abbey x Daisy is unlikely in this timeline!

ohh, I'm interested in seeing how this one turns out. I like seeing this alternate reality stories just to see how characters would interact if they went with the other choice or things didn't happen.
