Anyway. Hope you feel like your little tantrum was worth it. Enjoy being remembered as the crybaby who threw his arms in the air like a petulant child and stormed off.

Yeah, you didn't succeed in that project. You will find out new projects, you will try again a different thing (or even try to improve the same project) and sooner or later you will have a success.
You need to fail plenty times before doing anything good. Take that fail as a lesson for life and for your future projects.

We criticised you, but it wasn't to put you down. It was to help you make it better. No-one wants to hurt you here, with a few exceptions, but we will say stuff like what has been said before, and it's a guide rather than a shot at your head. Man up and take the insults, learn from the criticism, and thrive on the praise.

at least you had a crack at it, i mean most people just dream about doing stuff like this and never actually do anything even if what they do is bad, it still has merit because they went out and actually did something. You shouldnt feel bad because the people who didnt do anything sat on their asses and complained it didnt fit their ideal dream.
HEres a good example, Neon Genesis Evangelion turned out differently than it was supposed to because of budget cuts and a lot of people hated the ending especially but Gainax finished it anyway. Now however they were given a second chance and are remaking the whole series into four new movies, exactly the way they wanted to do it.
And i write, andwhen i write it is godawful. the dialogues are way too long or too stupid or the characters were portrayed wrong but i keep going back and redoing it after a while (to be honest, each chapter takes like, a month to finish and i never totally like them anyway)
so yeah, i get it some people just citisize to help you learn and a few just do it to take verbal pot-shots at you and sometimes its difficult to tell the difference but you really shouldnt feel that bad about it, because you used your time to make something and they used their time to destroy it, and you should be proud

wow chaz that's...actually very pin-point for what's going on. i like how you had compared this project to those things mentioned it fits well; and according to what you say about it the bittersweet candy bowl movie and neon genesis evangelion will have a LOT in common

I find it mildly offensive that you would compare constructive criticism, no matter how harsh, to verbal bullying :\
You also make a big deal out of people bitching about something they themselves can't do. I'm curious as to who you're referring to on the one hand... But I also think that that's a terrible assumption to make. You should accept good criticisms regardless of where they come from. Should big time movie directors never listen to what a film critic has to say, just because they've never made a blockbuster? Identifying flaws in something, and creating something, are two entirely different things. I don't have to be a great artist to be able to look over a painting and identify what does and doesn't work. I just need to have consumed enough information about the subject to be able to give an educated opinion.

last comment: i am sorry for my childish behavior in leaving and in the videos. i wanted to express as much emotions as one can in text which in some cases isn't much. and come june should nothing so horrible happen that would cause me to not show it, i will try to make up for it. there may be cake.
[is the cake a lie?]

Give up, because you did something wrong and now everyone hates you.
PS; Do a fucking acrobatic somersault into speeding traffic.

I'm gonna have to agree with Sushi on this one in some way. You lost your second chance when you said you gave up. Now everybody don't respect you as much and just refers to you as a quiter. Like Susan

When you get criticism, you have 3 choices. First, take it in stride, fix the issue and prove them wrong. Second, tell them to f*ck off and continue as normal. Third, cry like a baby and give up, forever cementing your place as a failure.
The first is what you normally should do, and you were given multiple opportunities to do it but didn't. The second you should only do if the criticism is wrong or in some way not applicable. This is what you did at first, despite the criticism being relevant and correct (seriously, those videos were horrid, but you COULD have saved them). The third is what you should never do, yet you did. Seriously, either ignore the criticism or use it. Running way saying "I give up you guys are mean" is something five-year-olds do.
