Never say this with such certainity. ^_^

The point is granted, though.

Wait until you start wearing a Paulo shirt. Then it's quite noticeable. ^_^

Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only person in the world addicted to webcomics. It doesn't look like you're nearly as bad as me, though. I've read BCB 3 times, Gunnerkrigg Court twice, and I wouldn't be surprised to find I've read certain parts of El Goonish Shive ten times. And let's see how many I read . . .
BCB
El Goonish Shive
Homestuck
XKCD
Questionable Content
Gunnerkrigg Court
Looking For Group
Awkward Zombie
City of Reality
Tales of the Questor
Dresden Codak
Order of the Stick
A Softer World
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal
Wondermark
Misfile
Hark! A Vagrant
Goblins
Sluggy Freelance
Darths&Droids
Commander Kitty
Freefall
Sandra and Woo
Luke Surl Comics
Scenes From a Multiverse
Edmund Finney's Quest to Find the Meaning of Life
Emergency Escape
Red's Planet
Optipess
Afterlife Blues
Oh, how nice, exactly 30. Not counting the ones I read that don't update anymore.

And before anyone says anything, I still have friends (yes, in real life) and can and do interact with them in what must constitute a perfectly normal fashion for me since that's how I acted before I read any webcomics. It's surprising how easy it is to keep it from becoming even so much as a noticeable quirk unless I choose to show it.

Are you sure City of Reality still updates? It's been a few months...

Edit: Now I feel stupid. I hadn't checked on it in about a week...
lo and behold, a new update. :nope:

i'm sorry for bumping this old thread, but i feel insulted by you claiming to be addicted. i currently read over 57 web comics (not counting the number of already finished comics).

Haha, the only comic I think I'm addicted to is BCB. :P

There was a time I haven't been addicted to any web comic, but then, Blip happened...And it happened good......

I thought, I want MOAR of this kind of stuff! So i looked into her links and that's why I am here.
But really, I didn't like this comic at the beginning. I thought that it was very naive since Lucy was a girl considered as the only one attractive and cool in the comic (I don't think that way anymore)
Anyway, I kept reading and got addicted without noticing it. But honestly, I don't like this feeling. I feel like an author's bitch, I could do anything for a new page of comic, that's not very clever ;D

yeah one of the only downsides for story comics, you're left anxiously anticipating the next update. also *high five for blip*. i normally followed the links from Allan.

Gosh. I only read Bittersweet Candy Bowl and Homestuck, if that actually counts as a comic. Everybody seems to read a lot of comics compared to me.
  • #58

I only read 4
BCB 2 times
Two kinds 3 times
BITF 5 times
And
Sonic and pals 9 times

High five!
It's a shame she (or he?) updates it rarely now...

I sometimes browse for new webcomics, but I am EXTREMELY picky. The only three I consider good enough to still read regularly are:

BCB
Sinfest
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal

Edit: Well damn, I looked through some of the replies and realized I forgot two great ones:

Perry Bible Fellowship
Scandinavia and the World

You'd be surprised, there are many extremely good ones out there. There are some I would even rate with the same level of quality as BCB, such as Dan Shive's El Goonish Shive and pretty much all of David Willis' comics.

I recall bookmarking a few I have yet to check out, and El Goonish Shive was one of them. I can say I don't care for a lot of the ones people have posted so far, such as Slightly Damned or Twokinds.

There's a pretty entertaining comic called The Fancy Adventures of Jack Cannon, and I forgot to mention being a huge Treading Ground fan. However, TG ended and his new project is in limbo. :(
  • #64

I've read Not Enough Rings. I haven't seen anyone mention that.
  • #65

Hah! Nice call there. XD
  • #66

Sinfest, omg, totally forgot about this one :O must read it now

oh yes i forgot to add one more thing to my list Modest Medusa.

it's a funny, slightly crude, and random webcomic. the plot is scattered, and feels a bit half-baked, but i like it. Modest Medusa is one of a comic best described as "A Crazy Car Plot". Where it's like you're in a car that's driving itself. you don't know where it's headed exactly, but you're just in it for the ride, and laughs.

The Adventures of doctor mcninja

Indeed, but that's been on hiatus for over a month now. :(
I hope she'll do some more soon.

Of course, always.

I'm just going to point out that you cannot be 'addicted' to webcomics. Reading webcomics doesn't chemically alter your brain's functioning, and that defines "addiction". What it is, is a compulsion to read webcomics. Fun fact, it's the same for video games. Tell that to your mother.

im addicted to cocaine. its really terrible, and everyone i know has turned against me because of it.
  • #72

They're just jealous of all your cocaine. Don't listen to them, listen to me, yeah. The voice in your head.
