About Me

Carcharocles (kar-KAR-o-klees) - a genus of shark once believed to be related to the great whites. The first species was C. auriculatus, which appeared around 50 million years ago, and 2 million years ago, the last surviving species, C. megalodon, passed into extinction.

Everything you need to know about me is as follows: I am passionate about sharks, living or extinct, I am an amateur artist who isn't confident in his skills, I am a budding writer, I am in love with the Resident Evil and Silent Hill games (except Homecoming and origins) and while I occasionally act like an idiot, I can be very articulate. I also build computers as a hobby. In fact, I have a deep hatred for prebuilt computers in general (this includes Macs by default, but really if it's not completely custom I consider it crap regardless of manufacturer).

I currently have more projects going on than I can juggle, but due to personal issues I have difficulty focusing on anything and as such the diversity of projects keep me busy. I am currently working on one serious project, dubbed Fallen, which I occasionally ask people to review for me. There aren't many people who get the opportunity. Despite this, I do a lot of concept art that gets posted frequently on my dA and Creative Arts pages.

A less serious but just as important project know as The Revelation is being posted, about one chapter a week, on my deviantArt account. This is a part of my "Deathscape" universe, which is a partially Lovecraft, partially arthouse/japanese horror inspired alternate universe Cosmic Horror super-series. The Revelation is Deathscape proper, meaning it follows the main plot and central characters, but there is also a "Deathscape Mythos" series that explores other aspects of the universe. Some events in the mythos will be referenced in Deathscape proper, while others simply expand the Deathscape universe and have no direct tie-in. There is a lot of concept art, some available for purchase. Most of it is old and in need of work.

Feel free to visit my deviantArt page or Creative Arts page. I always enjoy feedback!

I have a formspring if you're interested. Any questions about my, ehem, disorder should be asked there. I've gotten rather tired of talking about it on the forum, but given how little most people know about it I am more than willing to talk about it off-site.

You will occasionally see me bring up Arthur Bryant's or Gates' barbecue. Expect me to go completely fanboy when I do.

It seems there's one next to city hall, so I could go check that out. God knows I've driven further for dumber reasons.

When I saw it I thought about Dante's shotgun, which if I don't misremember is named Coyote-A.
It's off the top of my head and based on dated memories tho, so it's quite the idiotic comparison :3

I am afraid I will not stay for long, though, I am sorry to say. For now it is a temporary thing, since I will not be here tomorrow either, nor for a while after that. Still, I appreciate the welcome. ^_^

When I was around three or four years old, I had a CD called "Papa's Dream", by Los Lobos. The first song on the CD, as well as the one that I remember most clearly, is La Bamba. It was my favorite CD, mostly since it also had a story in between songs, so I heard it over and over again everyday when my CD player's alarm went off in the morning. Thus, nostalgia.
