Updated the Crimson Hawk to appear more like an M1911. I used the Nighthawk Custom 10mm Longslide as a reference.



It's funny how this gun started as a Tanfoglio T95 (read: CZ75 clone) and has evolved into a completely different firearm.


Speaking of updates, I've taken The Revelation chapters XXII - XXXIII offline for a while. I intend to flesh out the pacing there, which has suffered since my grandfather died. Expect new chapters in between and massive rewrites when they come back up.

The Resident Evil live-action movie series is horrible. Not just because Anderson doesn't seem to understand the source material (or that the main character is the mother of all Mary Sues), but because of the painfully bad acting, ineffective gore, boring scares, and action that is paradoxically both completely over-the-top and bland. While Extinction had that really fun crow scene, the series is far more popular than it actually should be.

Pneumonia in the second grade, which struck so hard it nuked my immune system. I was in the hospital for over a week, and ended up staying home from school for a month. If I went outside or had visitors, had to wear a surgical mask and they weren't allowed to come within a few feet of me. Even after I got better, I had to take breathing treatments for years afterward. It was pretty nasty.

Psychotic is the wrong word to use. Psychological, yes, but not psychotic. Psychosis is characterized by loss of touch with reality, typically through hallucinations (sensory stimuli that don't actually exist; ie hearing voices or seeing things that aren't there) and/or delusions (strongly upheld but false beliefs that the holder does not waver on even when given contrary evidence). Sorry, but it's a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

Also, personality disorders in general are usually not diagnosed until a person reaches 18, so whether or not her symptoms fit she can't be diagnosed with it until she is older. This is partially because one's personality is still forming at that age.

You realize that's a cover, right? The original song was sung by Tears for Fears. Google it next time--it's actually much better, although it is very 80's in execution.

Intoxication by Disturbed seems to describe Lucy's dependency on Mike very well; fitting since the song is about this kind of relationship. It also fits Mike's relationship with Lucy perfectly, at least until he began to resent her. In both cases, the relationship wasn't healthy--Lucy was abusive toward Mike, and he put up with it for a nice long while, and the relationship was nearly an addiction for Lucy herself, who treated him like shit despite harboring sentimental feelings.
