So guys, I know that Suitcase and Tae have been keeping it under wraps for a long time, but to forestall all worry and confusion about the future direction of the comic, I decided that this post needed to be made after seeing the reaction to the latest comic.

Don't worry, the comic isn't ending. But it IS going in a new direction. You see, there is something that has been working behind the scenes for a long time, and you'll all come to understand it soon, but I can't hold it in any longer.

Mike has a fetish for invisible girls.

He found it out after Sandy left. The fantastic four movie came out, and he saw the Incredibles, and he realized that he REALLY liked invisible girls. And I mean, like like.

So he began pining for Sandy, and Lucy when she wasn't around. He was at his worst during the winter, when Lucy blended in with the snow, and he could pretend she wasn't visible, and he could just hear her voice, and feel her body against his... but he made his move, and was rejected, and with global warming and all, they haven't gotten nearly as much snow in recent years.

Eventually, he started talking to Sandy more and more, and realized just how hot it was. And so he ditched Lucy for Sandy. But with Lucy staying away from him after his argument, his affection for her began to grow once more.

And now, Sandy has some REAL competition. With Lucy no longer staying in Roseville, Mike will begin to miss her, and start to call her as well, and his relationship with Sandy will begin to decay for the invisible girl he truly loves.

It will only be after Paulo checks Mike's internet history on his phone that he will realize the truth. He will see all the downloaded fantastic four comics... all the fanfics... all the pictures of him embracing... nothing... and realize just what is going on. And his friends will stage an intervention.

Amaya will finally start talking, realizing that she misunderstood what Mike said all those years ago. Paulo will try to empathize, but has no idea how to connect on the subject matter. David will forget Lucy is gone, and forget Lucy ever existed by turn. Sue will finally achieve main character status (as seen on this page, and foreshadowed all those years ago). Abbey will be disturbed by the idea, and try to keep Daisy away from him... but mysteriously, despite their deep friendship, Daisy will see less and less of Mike, and eventually declare that she, too, is switching schools. Now why could that be...?
