    Also, it amazes me how many people nearly drowned. Even as a lifeguard I'm surprised. Teach your children to swim folks.


    My neighbors always hated me. It was one of the times i remember.

    R.I.P last of his species. Some people say “hey a turtle died, big deal”. But what we witnessed was the extinction of a specie. Maybe we didn’t saw the Do-do bird, but at least we can tell our grandchild…or the kids that hang around our lawn “I was alive when the last of the giant turtles was alive”. They may call us cranky and old bags, but we can be proud to yell at them to get the hell out of our lawn because we witnessed something little, yet epic.
