I'm guessing this is a dream of Augustus' (triggered by his earlier conversation w/ Lucy in "December"). Lucy will jump to her death, the reader will turn the page, and we'll see Augustus waking up in some back alley wondering why the fuck he is so worried about Lucy. -

>Paulo: Make shitty attempts to solve code.
Well, if we take 1Z 2M 3L 4P and organize the letters alphabetically, we get 3241. If we use the clock in Lucy's room as a guide to translate the numbers, that gives us Clubs, Division, Sword, Star as the potential code for Paulo's lockbox.
Alternatively, we can convert the letters to numbers (26, 13, 12, 16) and take each number modulo 12 to get 2,1,0,4. Converting this to symbols using Lucy's clock as a guide gives Division, Star, Heart, Sword as the potential code.
And if that fails, why not try senseless violence?

Although with the dialogue, the first thing I thought of was David×Daisy, which almost never gets mentioned as a pairing.
Daisy x David totally happens.

I actually see this somewhat differently. What changed during the "Awakening" arc was not that Mike suddenly became unavailable – Mike had always unavailable to Daisy. Although they were friends, Mike was never interested in her and until the "Old Flame" arc had been chasing after Lucy. Instead, I think a major factor in precipitating her depression in the "Awakening" arc was the fact that Paulo also became unavailable. Indeed, the current page seems to emphasize this fact as it shows both Mike and Paulo when it mentions guys looking past her. Now, of course, Daisy didn't have a crush on Paulo, but Paulo had always been a source of support for Daisy. After all, both had crushes on two extremely popular members of the opposite sex and both were constantly rejected by them as well as overshadowed by them. I'd like to imagine that these commonalities would have enabled Daisy and Paulo to better empathize with each other, allowing them to commiserate in their loneliness together. Indeed, Paulo helps pick Daisy up many times when she's down, and he's first one she would seek for support. So when Daisy is feeling depressed that Mike has a girlfriend and Paulo ignores her, she has nowhere to turn. Paulo had been her best friend to that point, and she certainly couldn't turn to her other close friends (Mike or Lucy). Thus, it's really the combination of both Mike's unavailability (which triggers her depression) and Paulo's unavailability (which takes away her source of support), that drove her crisis.
