I like slice-o-life chapters like this. I’m continually surprised by Souppy’s ability to write this kind of stuff. But props to you both for this one

You can really tell that Taeshi has become a lot more comfortable with Sandy’s character design in this chapter. I admit that I was half-hoping for drama/angst, but I do think that this chapter was necessary at some level. Of course, the commentary hints that I may yet get what I wished for, so I’ll just wait and see.

(Also, thanks for rewarding my insomnia with a slightly earlier update ^_^)

Sandy…I absolutely love the girl now. She’s adorable, but she’s so stressed because of her mom, not to mention it must hurt her deeply that she can’t see Mike…I hope you get a happy ending, Sandy. Lucy, too, but with someone other than Mike.

This was my first chapter that I had to wait to read all of because I’ve started reading not that long ago, and I must say it was well worth the wait.

But I’m still after this more of a DaisyxMike fan.

i don’t really understand sandy’s feelings throughout the entire chapter, but i suppose that’s how it’s supposed to be…keep you wondering? i’m definitely still curious. she seems kinda moody even if she may not openly express herself. i wonder if mike knows this side of her. very interesting indeed.

i support pauloxlucy anyway. BWAHA…well, nearly ALL the parings are cute to me, i suppose i just don’t feel like i know sandy enough. i feel neutral about her i guess.

Sandy is definitely growing on me now that she’s been showcased more prominently with her own chapter. At first I couldn’t fully get behind her as a love interest to Mike especially since I think that in a perfect world, MikexLucy really needed to happen. But now I know she needs Mike almost as much as Lucy does/did.

omg i thought she would be kidnapped cause shes pretty and no one knew where she was mike didn’t talk for days, months and lucy found her in a farm house and she was tied up lucy got her out of the ropes saved her mike was happy but he lyked lucy now cause she saved sandy so no one cares for sandy and you see paulo, liam, carter, sandy, david, daisy, that gay dude and others crying in the corner

I dunno if I should be happy or sad.

The latter strips seem to have Sandy in a downward spiral to depression, but yeah, they do get to talk a lot more than they used to.

The last three panels are the ones to sum up my feelings towards this.

A change of pace, definitely a big revelation chapter for Sandy’s character. Some parts made me sad, others made me smile, some I just felt odd because I didn’t know how to react, but I can see just how much she cares about Maishul (Cute how she still calls him that after so many years). The last three panels were amazing, I’m really wondering what the next chapter holds.

Kudos, and I can’t wait for Monday (Never thought I’d ever say that XD).

I like the second to last panel. I think it shows even Sandy is starting to think Mike is getting obsessed with her.

I used to strongly dislike Sandy, but am finding it hard right now.

I think Lucy hates Sandy, but doesn’t actually know what she’s like nowadays. As usual, people who are hurt by others think them horrible people, and make assumptions. As you can see, yet another victim of misunderstanding-hate.

No really, that’s something I never thought about. I was under the impression that the second to last panel was: “but they’ll probably refuse to take any pictures….”

Why is it that Sandy is the only person who wears clothes?! Is it because she’s the only person with hair that is a different color from her fur?

On another note, I think Sandy looks rather sad in the final panel, even though she’s talking about how “wonderful” it would be when she comes to see him.

@N8: She seems to be on speaker phone. I wouldn’t look so deep and forget the surface possibilities so much N8….

Mmmm well, I don’t hate her. In fact she’s not that bad of a character. Little to sweet, like Daisy, but that’s all.

I’m still MikexLucy though. I love the physically and emotionally abusive couples way more than the super sweet ones.

MikexSandy is cute buuuuut…just not bitter enough for my tastes. But now we have seen Sandy so I can’t use the fact that I know nothing about her as a reason for MikexLucy.

She’s just more formal (or stylish) than most of the BCB cast. Tess has different fur color from her hair so I don’t think that’s the case. Clothes are more of an accessory than anything in the BCB canon.

Something tells me a wrench was thrown into their plans to see eachother, and Sandy just can’t bring herself to say it to Mike without making him sad.

I definitely know what that feeling feels like …..

Anyway, back to praising, awesome as always Taeshi, I hope things work out for Mike and Sandy, but I guess we all will find out in the coming future

It was great to have a comic for Sandy, but its like one of those comics the creator makes to buy time for a plot twist.
