It’s so nice to finally see Lucy warming up to him at last. He may not have made all the best choices here, but she finally understands the fact that he is not going anywhere. Paulo’s gonna stick around for her no matter what happens. Lucy has finally accepted this it would seem and has begun to trust him. His heart is in the right place, even if his actions don’t always show it. This is why I enjoy PauloxLucy, he may be perv at times, but he’s a perv with a heart which Lucy now understands.

If only he hadn’t been so shy when they first met eh? Their pairing up could have happened sooner. Instead he ended up trying to gain confidence and Lucy ended up not liking the perv he became.

I know the source, but I think this daydream is far to long. You need days and weeks to daydream something detailed and long like this. I want to know whats happening outside.

I have to agree… On the other hand, I am still waiting for the imagined deal breaker that Paulo hinted at in the beginning of this chapter, because things really don’t seem that bad still. Even with the possible pregnancy scandal, throughout it all they have both become better people… Maybe it is their friends and peer’s reactions to the whole situation that ruins it?

“Fanservice” might be too strong a word for this, due to only a percentage of fans actually liking it. For the others, this Chapter has probably provided nothing but a sickening turnoff to the entire comic, as it’s been nothing BUT Paulo x Lucy. Of course, the Paulo x Lucy fans would probably be just as sickened by Mike x Lucy or Liam x Lucy chapters instead, so I guess it’s a fair trade off.

Ok, this is too weird now. I looked back at the past several chapters (back to ‘Another Shoulder’), and in none of them is the height difference between characters so pronounced as the Lucy/Paulo height difference here. I mean seriously, it’s kind of creepy; she’s only up to his lower chest. It looks like there’s a serious age difference between them. As a reference, compare Paulo/Jasmine in panel six here or panel one here. Also, Paulo/Lucy in panel one here. She’s even slouched over in that one! It just doesn’t make sense, and I don’t see the reason for the change.

Otherwise, though, Paulo/Lucy is wonderful in this chapter, rivaling Paulo/Jasmine for levels of cuteness. It’s seriously a tough pick… Paulo/Jasmine and Mike/Lucy or Paulo/Lucy and Mike/Sandy.

Of course, if fan characters are allowed in, then Lucy/Liam can settle the whole problem, since Abbey/Daisy looks so nice… though the phrasing of her one line on page one of ‘Another Shoulder’ gives me misgivings about it. Still, it’s not enough to write the pairing off as Daisy being a doormat… yet. Still, I’d really rather find a non-Mike/Lucy solution, as recent chapters have utterly soured Mike/Lucy for me.

I’m guessing 2 weeks later will be the cliffhanger for monday

Is ‘Candybooru’ supposed to be ‘Candy Bowl’ with a Japanese accent? If so, then it’s not quite right. It would sound more like ‘Candy Bool’.

However- imagine this scenario: What if Lucy somehow received a ticket and instructions to go to where Sandy lives? However, only she can go. What would happen?

Argh after all the crap between Mike and Lucy for her to just go to Paulo just… argh. And what’s with the retcon, anyway? I don’t hate it I just… don’t like Lucy and Paulo together. I preferred Paulo and Tess, personally.

Double O’s in Romanized japanese are pronounced as long O’s, just like Ou and O with a line over the top. So Candybooru is actually right as well.

and i think if the answer is only 2 days before the comic is over.. we wont have that much time to get everything straight and to see Paulo`s reaction when he wakes up from the daydream and that -`s 1 page from the 2 pages so basically we have 1 page left for Teashi to say the answer…
