Even though it is tragic that this comic was drawn months ago when I didn’t doodle Lucy with hair.. so you get a weird-looking lovechild of Lucy and Sue as a 17-year old lol

So for 2 or so something years, Paulo was still under the illusion that Lucy loved Mike despite the things they’ve been through? Can’t say it would’ve been a realistic ending but it’s a sweet enough one =3
That said, I was shouting when I saw Paulo in his toga. Most detailed and longest daydream ever.

Lies, Taeshi! Lucy can never be too old for a dinky ol’ ribbon!
Unless, of course, she *is*, which means everything is a lie. A lieeeeeeee! Or Paulo just has a terrible imagination. Man, so in this timeline, they’ve been together, what, a couple of years, and Paulo still has doubts about himself and Lucy. Tsk. Well, then again, he probably has good reason, but he cannot show weakness! The fool! You must exude confidence!
Anyway, this has been a nice diversion, but I’m glad this little arc is ending. Time to get back to the “real” world.
