GOODNESS, the scanner killed this. I’m sorry for the quality. It honestly looks more vibrant in real life, but I can’t really do anything about it now, can I? Ahh well.. but anyways.. the characters will actually be aging throughout this series.. and the old series actually has all their birthdays! When I used to draw the old series, I always did a little party thing when it was their birthday.. and considering how many characters are here.. yeah.. there will be some of these. And I thought “Why not color? I need to practice with my prismacolor colored pencils anyway!”

Man, I’m rusty XD I tend to only color in Oekaki so this came out kind of.. scribbly. Plus, I finished this at like 4 A.M.. so forgive some areas that suck. And speaking of colors, DAISY’S NOT THAT DARK. Goodness, my scanner hates me. She’s meant to be a light light peach color mixed with yellow and white here and there.. and I noticed that whenever I color really light, the colors don’t appear. So I tried to make Daisy’s peachness a bit darker so that the scanner picks it up.. it picked it up TOO MUCH. And you can see she gets DARKER. What’s wrong with me. I think at one point, I mixed up one colored pencil with another hence why she gets darker.

I’m really sorry if this came out crap “XD;” But just a landmark to get out of the way. So yeah.. Mike’s birthday is the 10th of August. Silly to be celebrating a fictional character’s birthday, but I just wanna have landmarks and everything XD They celebrate Garfield’s birthday, afterall! Or something.

Oh, that Michael. And by the way, for some reason, I keep thinking Lucy came out particularly gorgeous, but maybe that’s due to the white, light blue, and pink combo she has.. really light colors. I DON’T KNOW. But yes. What a failure of a comic. And David has yellow on his face on the fourth panel. What is up with that! Also what is up with Paulo having an ORANGE mouth on panel four? Panel four seems to be a plethora of bad luck.

Chirpy was red in the character-quiz thing.. but she’s changed to be pink now.. so yeah. Alteration of colors. Pink just seems really fitting for Chirpy.. considering the mother was meant to be red. Also speaking of color-changes.. you can tell I wasn’t COMPLETELY final with everything since Blur is actually yellow in this! What!! Yeah.. he was originally meant to be yellow, but I thought he looked too much like a bloody canary.. so it was changed to a blue-violet color.. the blue blur lol

And yeah, Mike lacks a scarf XD They bumped in terribly early for him.. hence David’s remark. You don’t see Mike too often without his scarf, really.. SO YES. One other thing to point out that’s amusing is that Red Lobster no longer sings this song.. atleast the Red Lobster I work in. Isn’t that depressing? It’s such a nice and happy song, too! I’ll definitely miss it, they replaced it with the generic birthday song now. What a bummer!

Fun fact: Michael’s sister, Haley, has her birthday on August 9.. but she’s like a full year younger.. so she JUST turned thirteen.. but she’s too unimportant a character to draw anything for. THAT’S JUST HOW IT’S ALWAYS BEEN. Yes. OKAY I’LL STOP TYPING. How could I type so much for ONE PAGE.
