@BCB fan as I said before, get a server and get someone that knows a bit of HTML to help you build the site, get sponsors and ect. Try to however not sign up with a easy comic site (anything that allows you to quickly build a comic provided you have a username) they usually steal your content and CAN sell your story. Most people I know with a personal comic actually has their server sitting around in their living room. It can always be a start.

It’s good to see that Mike isn’t imagining this like Lucy thought. This arc is meant to make the reader feel btter feelings for sandy. To create a situation where Sandy was never seen would make it so there would be less of a question about who Mike would go for. This arc then can cause the reader to think that Sandy and Mike prehaps really should be together. The evidence that still points tword Lucy, however, is that Mike needs to develop as a character. To develop, he needs conflict, and to create conflict, you need change. So unless this comic is about to end, then there will be, by necessity, relationship issues that crop up between Mike and Sandy.

Now, I’m no regular shipper (personally, I think that both MikexSandy and MikexLucy are both adorable in their own ways, which makes it impossible for me to side one way or the other since either way someone’s going to be COMPLETELY crushed) but I would like to point out that the “long distance relationships never work” card is completely irrevelant in this case considering TaeshixSouppy (srsly). I still honestly believe that, while there would obviously be problems between them (IT’S HIGH SCHOOL, GUYS! THERE’S NEVER ENOUGH DRAMA!) Lucy and Mike honestly deserved eachother. This page with Sandy, who is obviously successful and swooning over some guy HALFWAY ACROSS THE PLANET only strengthens my belief in that. I mean, seriously. NOTHING GOOD CAN COME FROM THIS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEM.

I hope the new page is out when I’m coming home from school… still today (yeah it’s already friday in Germany) and next wednesday until summer break. I’m so f-ing tired of those long scooter travels to school but eh… you have to go from time to time.

Mikexlucy is way better in my opinion because they have like so many memories together and they’ve been through good times and bad times. I mean sandy is pretty and all but she’s only seen mike when they were kids and shell ne’er have the same sort of connection Lucy has with him.

I think Mike and Sandy both have these idealized versions of each other based on their memories. They’ve made their own versions of each other in their minds. Without seeing each other and really interacting, they don’t truly know one another. For example, Lucy and Mike are always together, so they can tell one another’s mood by body language, tone, etc. Sandy and Mike don’t have that. It’s like moving in with your best friend, college kids always recommend against it, because it never ends well.

I believe that the moment they start spending ample time with each other, Sandy and Mike will go through a lot of problems. Hopefully enough problems to break them up. Honestly, Lucy and Mike deserve each other because they already love each other unconditionally, even though they’re going through a spat right now.
