13, not sure how most would react, but I feel that one is a stronger possibility of actually happening...

19 couldn't work. McCain would turn out 2 ways:
1.) He wouldn't say anything, but the drama around him would turn him all soft and weak.
2.) He would talk our furry little ears off. Always. And it would be dramatic.

Killing off Jasmine, or, for that matter, any non-vital character that's still deeply seated in the psyche of another character is a nice idea. The character development that would occur would, doubtlessly, be of superb qualities. Everyone remember that bit where Lucy thought Mike had died?
