But to get access to a car like that, Matt would have to talk to someone in the racecar industry. Someone like Lucy's Dad?

I knew that was your handy work from the thumbnail jemciv. That would have to be like the best insurance company ever to get him that car.
nah, the best insurance company would have put Jordan is really short shorts for Matt.
An R35? Really guy.
Why not shoot for the moon with an 300SL?
^Nah Nah Nah stop right there... This is BCB, we argue about ships not cars.

"The U.S. official launch was seven months later on July 7, 2008."
Not available in the US at time of the comic.
It is 2008 in the comic! But it is not July of 2008. Nor would it be easy to access such a rare and limited run of vehicles easily.
A new car is easier to find references for than old car. Look at the suv that Mike's mom drives.

JEMCIV: that's not true, I always specifically look up cars that are plausible in the storyline. It might look like a 14, but I do check the dates. I guess I'm just shit at cars whoops
Loads of people are shit at cars. I can't get perspectives right even though I know all the teensy little details I want to put in.
Doesn't matter if you put a new car in, you have to stay somewhat in the real world's time. Backdrop item that puts forward a large portion of detail and character without wasting any time or panels to explain it is grade-A choice good idea.
Had you used a 2008 or whatever IS-F, it would look a bit generic as all cars int hat time did. Look at iPhones along the 2007 year, does their design match what we have seen?
I didn't mean for you to get called out on that stuff. Lolwhoops.
