I’m really getting upset with the way this story is going, I really enjoy it, but Mike kinda got metaphorically punched in the face twenty times in a row and now, it seems a little contradictory (not sure why, really) to make Paulo a good guy. It just doesn’t fit, I guess. So good an you, O great author, for being a great writer and draw…er, but why do you have to kill them so hard??

The cat from confrontation seems to be related to the dog that marked Paulo with his fear, but the senior in this page only knew about Paulo’s weakness.

Nope, it’s Alejandro. Abbey would never condone acting like a sleaze ball. Plus, if it was him, he’d know about this part of the story already.
Also, it can’t have been Abbey’s father, as Abbey is the same age as the rest of the main characters - Abraham Sr. may be a wife-basher and an abusive father, but we have absolutely no evidence of him being a pedophile.

It’s by this time that Lucy is beginning to want to fight back with anyone that hits on her, as was shown in “Childhood Storytelling”.. so I guess it was a bad time for Paulo to just waltz in all “I WANNA HIT THIS LOLI”.. but he was taught by that mystery thug that acting that way was acceptable and the only way of getting girls.. so Paulo could be considered innocent in that respect.. he didn’t know what to do, he already failed it with Lucy once since he was too shy.
Some think that it’s weird that Paulo was merely barked at rather than mugged and attacked.. and although I do agree a bit that the gang-up shoulda been harsher to be more believable, I kind of see it fitting that he wasn’t wounded. The thug leader that Paulo talked to was aware of Paulo’s weakness and his phobia of barking (Don’t ask how, still something coming up..).. so here we have a young freshman who despite holding a huge weakness, suddenly acts as if he’s all strong and popular after getting a few lessons from his “mentor”.. and now that Paulo realizes the wrongness of the mentor’s suggestions, Paulo just throws off the mentor like he was nothing.. so yeah. The mentor just wanted to show Paulo that in the end, he’s still that weak little kitten that is deeply afraid of something so harmless like barking. Kind of symbolic in a way.. something else was deeply hurt.. way more than physical wounds.
