Wow their height differance is more than I expected

when the last page said END I was all like WTF? but then I read Taeshi’s comments and then I felt better. sometime I go into ghetto mode when I get confused. ^_^

Yeah, there’s kinda been size issues this entire series of strips. Their heads keeps changing size - Paulo’s likes to double in size from panel to panel and Jasmine’s likes to shrink. Now Jasmine looks like a dwarf with an egg head when on the first page she had normal proportions…and his upraised gimpy leg here…

Well, to put it mildly, the art in this preview hasn’t been that great. Honest opinion. I’ll wait for normal chapters to resume.

@Nikita I assume you took direct offense to my comment, not my intentions.
Mad? No. Annoyed? Yes, by seeing that on almost every page, I mean as an artist myself that just seems a bit disrespectful, could you really just take the time to actually observe the content that’s been posted, instead of trying to get first comment? I mean if you posted a real comment the first time, doesn’t that seem more sincere? That’s just me though. Also, I enjoy Taeshi’s comics it’s just this one has had me a bit puzzled if you didn’t actually understand what I was saying. Not here to start a war just really tired of seeing gibberish when I go to post a comment. It’s like people stalk the page just for this purpose.
I’m not expecting you to understand where I’m coming from as an avid reader and artist when I see things like this.

Two things, firstly, the term ‘U mad bro?’ is in reference to the reader, not the commenter so in reply, no, I did not take offense. I just pointed out the thing about your comment as to get you to look at the quality of your own work before you criticize another’s. Secondly, wouldn’t it be a good thing to see that your comic is popular enough that people will fight over first slot, and, not having those people just leave ‘first’ but instead, a comment that shows that they weren’t just trolling.
Also, I only very rarely read past the first few comments. I assume others do the same so I like to have my input acknowledged.
Also, I’m kind of a self-grammar Nazi so if I see I made a mistake, I will go back to correct it. Though this has nothing to do with your point.

Huh. Has anyone thought that Paulo could just be kinda tall? I mean, he’s taller than a lot of the other characters. That might be it instead of being short.

I discovered this webcomic a week ago, and it got me so hooked that I read it all in a couple of days. You’ve done a really really really amazing job here, congratulations!

After a series of crushing conclusions, it’s nice to see this simple and enjoyable conclusion in the Paulo x Jazz relationship. The “retro” style was also very enjoyable as well, because for me it seems to harken back to the simpler days of BCB (not that I don’t enjoy the drama, it just gets a little heavy sometimes and it’s nice to have a breather/intermission).

I was bamboozled! Totally read Jasmine wrong on the last panel of the previous page. She really was just conflicted because she wanted to be with Paulo. But why is this blossoming? Lucy forever alone?

Its a cool flashback at first I thought it was continuing with the story but then I remembered we left off with it snowing. Baseball isn’t usually until spring/summer. so unless we skipped the play and the rest of Jazzy’s freshman year…. lol. On the topic of Paulo’s height, I think puberty hit this boy hard.
In the Buddy-System one shot, he made Mike look tiny, even when he was hunched over playing video games! Growth spurts scare the crap outta me! O_o

So how come in the previous page, she seemed to be at least shoulder height to him (and if it was with the… camera? closer to her, she’d still be at least chest height sitting down to him, yet on this page she’s about shoulder length high standing next to him? O.o

Good for them. :3 Even though I’m all x hope hope these guys can still be friends if Lucy and Paulo get together.:)
