Author commentary

Veronica: Souppy and I kind of clashed with the end of this comic, like I completely misinterpreted his script and had something mildly different in mind, but I changed it. I initially drew Sandy with a very somber expression, but Souppy wanted something more.. hopeful? Okay? A little sad, but not quite? Maybe things will be okay?

But the purpose of the comic was not to provide a huge revelation about Sandy, it was more to just.. show a bit of the current Sandy. Show what she does, possibly why she’s always so busy, what drives her and how close she is to Mike.

But yeah, I would get people all WHAT IS SANDY’S DEAL and there you have it. Once again thank you Souppy for the script!

Stay tuned for a.. quite different kind of chapter on Monday!

Oliver: Looking back on it, I think it worked out well! But it’s obviously a bit understated and supposed to lay the groundwork for this character who comes in and out of the story, so I don’t want to expound on it too much here. I feel for her, though! Don’t you?

Dawww, sandy’s so cute.

Though i can’t really read her emotions very well, its like, is she HAPPY that she’s with mike? or does she find it a burden?

Sandy…I absolutely love the girl now. She’s adorable, but she’s so stressed because of her mom, not to mention it must hurt her deeply that she can’t see Mike…I hope you get a happy ending, Sandy. Lucy, too, but with someone other than Mike.
