I also think it’s kind of ironic in a way that Mike had said all those things about how everyone only hung around Lucy because of him, but now it seems the opposite was true.

Heya Veronica, welcome to America!

Wow, I hope Blur isn’t leaving permanently. He, Yashy, Chirpy, and Lily interact together so well. And poor Mike. Though as a lot of people pointed out, he didn’t act very considerately, he’s really a good kid. He and Lucy both are, they just need to be more honest with themselves, and less abusive to eachother. But without THAT, there’d be no drama, and it’d be a pretty boring comic. Get well soon Lucy!

To be fair, while he lived with Mike, Blur was saved by Lily and brought to Lucy’s house. Almost every time we saw Blur he was with the other ‘pets’. Honestly though, they have their own free will and voices, so they could do whatever they want, so I don’t consider them pets. On the stories look though, it really seems like she’s starting over. Leaving town, gave Paulo a fond farewell (even though he didn’t realize it at the time) and now Blur is gone. If the last page Lucy’s bow tied to something while she/her family drive off, the waterworks for both characters and readers alike will start flowing.
