I think if you guys dislike the faces, you should give explanations as to why you think that way. "I hate your faces" is not helpful at all, it doesn't give her an assistance on how to improve.
That being said, it's a shitty attitude to have the belief of "Don't like it? Don't look!", Silvia. Because I agree with them, I hate the way your faces look. But I can actually explain it.
The eyes are too close together on Lucy for the shape of the face, she looks like she has a fat head that is INCREDIBLY wide and her eyes are all squished together smack-dab in the middle. The shape of the head is not supposed to be blobby-squareish. It's meant to be more of a circular upside-down egg-shape. Also the ears do not just land straight on the top of the head. You should do some research on facial structures, and be mindful of the head relative to the body. Even with exaggeration in mind, Lucy's head is about as long as her entire torso. That's absurd, even for a "style."
Paulo looks proportionally better, like an understandable big head and his eyes aren't all close together, but Lucy looks like an absolute mess.

Here's a pretty simple tutorial on drawing the face, only the proportional aspects to keep in mind. Compare that face to your Lucy face. What's different? The eyes aren't squished and there isn't a huge space from the eyes to the back of the head, for example.
This isn't me saying that you have to absolutely obey these rules no matter what, though it would be ideal, but it's more to show you that there IS shape to the face. You don't just draw the eyes and mouth wherever you please, unless you want to keep harvesting a style that nobody wants to pay attention to because the rules are so broken. In a way some people do take your advice. You get few comments on your work a lot of the time, probably because people don't feel like critiquing it. And yet there's other people who get plenty of comments because they have far more structure in their work.
So take that as you will.
