Taeshi’s Commentary On This Page

A comic that I thought was a bit more half-assed compared to the ones before.. so sorry about the quality if you felt the same as well.. but yeah. We’re gonna go into another little round of angst, but at the hands of Lucy! Oh no! Tess and Abbey are clearly MikexLucy fans, too.. if you can tell by how annoyed they are seeing Lucy be so casual about Mike’s relationship. They expected Lucy to turn out all jealous and upset, but that’s not the case.

Panel seventeen came across as confusing to some people.. and I can see why it’s that way. It’s because Lucy whispered the answer and only Mike was able to hear it due to his really sensitive hearing. You can see little lines on the side that represent Lucy mumbling.. and there’s just a freeze of realization at her answer.. since Mike is expecting himself.. but..

(I hate Lucy on the last panel. So weird-looking!)

Okay… who put the rumour into this world that David is stupid? I mean, throughout the comic he has in one way or the other always proven that he’s quite witty… I think he only pretends to be stupid

Davind isn’t stupid, just a bit slow, and easily distracted.

I don’t understand this… why did she felt forced to answer after saying truth? Is that just a plot device, or bad things happen in real life if you reject that?

Is it so wrong to be a LucyxMike shipper?

@ Thatoneguy: Agreed. Especially in light of (and in some cases, in spite of) what happens later in this comic, I can’t see anything wrong with shipping Mike and Lucy.

@Standard: I agree, he’s witty, intelegant and, in his own way, smart. The real problem, though, is that he’s a slow thinker and somewhat naive.

David’s hilarious meter just rose 250%. And that was a pretty good move there too! Truth or dare…
