To tell the truth, I started reading this comic because I saw a image of the characters, and I thought Paulo WAS Tails, and I wanted to check it out.
So, yes, he does look like him. But now I see a LOT of differences… both in his looks, and behavior.

Wow I’m REALLY loving this I just started reading this two days ago. I’m slightly new to webcomics I started out with twokinds after stumbling upon it one day read more than half of it the entire night. Now I’m fought up to it and I as looking for a new one and found this I stayed up all night reading up to Daisy’s birthday. And I am glad this comics lasting me for longer for pulling all nighters.

I think they would work well together. Still, I CAN’T FRIGGIN’ BELIEVE THAT PAULO WAS LUCY’S FIRST CRUSH! That just shocked me…in a positive way.
I remember in the first ever chapter (revised one that you have as default in modern times), Lucy runs into Paulo in the park and she rides on his skateboard for a brief moment…willingly. That was a great moment, and I thought that there was something between the, Then Mike came along, and I wasn’t so sure anymore.
BUT NOW! Look what Lucy is admitting! Can’t WAIT to see where this leads!

You guys… seriously… try reading a few more pages before posting such stupid and thoughtful comments… Her first CRUSH was Paulo, but this was when he was new to the school and he wasn’t such a jerk. As soon as Paulo became the jerk you all know and hate, she completely moves away from him. This is a well thought through and well made comic, please think before you comment…
Oh snap, it was Paulo all this tiiiime. I’m sure it came as surprising to some, but expected for others considering how in the first comic, Lucy clearly had a thing for Paulo.. and in the old series, she held a huge crush.. so some influence from the old series is seeping onto the new one.. and I feel it’s fitting enough. It’s not out of place, I always intended for Lucy to find Paulo atleast attractive.. so yeah. Time for a flashback as expected!
Lucy’s whiskers are masters of disguise so that’s why they went and hid in the second panel *Kicked* And man is young Paulo adorable or what!
