Yes, the math teacher returns.. he definitely got a short amount of spotlight on the first comic where they entered High School.. I thought this joke would be amusing enough.

Next time I give someone a high-five, I’m going to calmly say “Snack.” Of course… I don’t remember the last time I gave someone a high-five. But whatever.

In my High School (which a lot of the classes are based on), Algeom was meant to be a pretty “dumb person” class, like if you couldn’t get into normal Algebra class you’d end up in Algeom.

Technically speaking you don’t have to know the processes or equations to land on the moon..you just need the reflexes and ability to know when+where to push which buttons and how to direct it. O_o; The people who -design- certain parts and scripts within it probably would have to know them, however-like playing a videogame, the person actually doing it doesn’t necessarily have to have an understanding of “why” everything works the way it does, just “what to do” and “when” to do it for the most part.

My math teacher in eighth grade told us all that our souls would wither and die if we had to go through algebra one a second time.
