*The CP English teacher smiles brightly and hands Lucy a paper while unknown students stand in the background. Lucy looks anxiously at the paper.*
CP English teacher: You were all so great this year, and I’m sure next year you’ll be even better!

*Paulo sits at his desk, holding his hands to his cheeks. He smiles encouragingly at Lucy, who’s sitting at the next desk.*
Paulo: So did ya make it into CP English II?
*Lucy huffs out a relieved breath and smiles widely, holding up the paper.*
Lucy: Just barely..
Paulo: See? I knew you’d do it!

*Paulo continues to smile cheerfully. Lucy pauses to glare at him.*
Lucy: …

*Lucy turns away, closing her eyes as she frowns and blushes.*
Lucy: If I wanted a fruitcake, I’d talk to Mike.
*Paulo ducks his head, smiling sheepishly.*
Paulo: Sorry.. Umm. You’re hot. And stuff.

*In the Honors English classroom, Daisy stands with her arms outstretched, grinning widely.*
Daisy: Whoo! Honors II here we come!~
*Mike looks on from the background, smiling crookedly and waving a flag that has “Yay!” written on it.*

*The Honors English teacher sits at her desk behind a neat stack of papers, smiling mischievously.*
Honors English teacher: Alright, students.. You’ve all been fanatically devoted to your work this year. I just know you’ll only burn brighter as sophomores.

*The Honors English teacher smiles coldly, her eyes narrowing.*
Honors English teacher: But for now..

Honors English teacher: Care to reflect on what you learned in a personal essay? It’s for your final grade!
*Mike reels backward flailing his arms in horror, eyes goggling and mouth dropping open.*
Mike (thinking): How many of these do we HAVE?!

*The scene transitions to the English I classroom where the English I teacher stands with his back to the class and a condescending smile on his face.*
English I teacher: Now I know it’s hard work getting anything out of you guys, so I’ve assigned an extra-long summer reading list in the hopes you look at at least ONE of these novels..

*The English I teacher turns around laughing and points at David.*
English I teacher: Though I doubt it’ll matter! At this rate they’ll be downgrading you to picture books next year, hahaha haha!
*David glares at the English I teacher and grumbles.*

*David frowns down at the paper he’s holding.*
David: !

*David bursts out of his chair, so happy that he’s floating. He throws his arms up, grinning widely.*
David: WHOOO! I GOT INTO CP English II!!
*The English I teacher stares into the distance, dumbfounded.*

*David grins wickedly and points at the English I teacher.*
David: IN YOUR FACE, teacher! I’m not gonna have to see you never ever ever never ever again! Ever!
*The English I teacher glares.*
English I teacher: I can still suspend you.

*Katie stands up at her desk, gazing at David with large, pleading eyes. David is startled.*
Katie: Buttt, like, David! We were, like, best friends or something! You can’t just, like, go! I, like, need you or some junk!

*David blushes and leans over to Katie, who sits back down at her desk and rests her chin on folded hands.*
David: Need me..?
*Katie gazes up at David, smiling flirtatiously.*
Katie: Like.. of course! ♥

*Katie looks at David with a sultry expression, tapping her lips with one finger. Sparkles appear around her head.*
Katie: I could.. like.. fulfill all of your, like.. desires.. If you want..

*David turns his back to Katie, smiling innocently.*
David: You could scratch my back.
*Katie leans over her desk, frowning in confusion as she scratches David’s back.*
Katie: Uhh.. like, here?
*David wiggles. Hearts appear around him.*
David: Like there.

*David springs up, grinning widely, and runs for the door.*
David: All desires fulfilled! Good luck in English II!
*Katie throws herself at David, clinging to his leg.*
