I know what Zach is. He’s a romantic. He can read people using they’re feelings, emotions and actions. He has an ear for musical talent and, despite his bluntness, he really knows how to go straight to the core of a person’s mind heart and soul. He’s not quite at this state of mind, though, but he’s close enough to still be called a romantic. He reminds me a bit of my first boyfriend.

My heart almost stopped when Lucy said “Dammit, Zach, I love him…”

In any case, both Mike and Lucy still have a lot of growing up to do. This time, it’s Lucy’s time to do some soul searching. We all knew those insecurities would come back to haunt her. Look at her now. She’s telling a complete stranger something she wouldn’t even admit to herself. She’s getting there, slowly but surely.

Zach is probably my second favorite character so far. He’s just so honest and helpful; makes me wonder what experiences he had to help himlearn all this himself… Too bad he’s a minor character. But he IS playing a major role by helping Lucy so much, so that’s at least something. I don’t get what she’s doing to him on the last panel. Pushing him away? Pulling him into a hug? Just resting her hands on his shoulders? What?

Even then, if it wasn’t for the fact that his life is otherwise pretty awesome, with the babes loving him, good grades, being a kickass athlete, and some friends who are actually nice to him and like him, PLUS Sandy, he would have either dumped you or killed you ages ago.

Especially Sandy, who is everything you are not, and exists as a comforting ideal to him, the perfect counter to you.

I’ve been reading your works for a while now. Since the beginning, I found it quite interesting as well as heart-breaking at times; great story you got there.
I’ve been a failure at love and reading this made me sad, but just can’t get enough of it. Reaching this point of the story, I kinda expected that from Lucy but it just made my heart explode.
