From the discord talk about them being dolls

hahaha

Yes!

Good to see the follow up to that conversation

We even had this idea of phrases that they would say. Like Paulo could say some pick up lines and Lucy would call you Jerkface a lot. We also had this thing where Sandy would only speak to you ever do often, and the gaps between the phrases would get longer the longer you had her. Good times!

Seeing this discussion brought to life is such a treat. You are blessed.

Drew this something like 7 years ago after a joke of Lucy being like Raven

i adore this

the lower doodles are super low-effort because SAI crashed and I lost one that i actually thought was good heehee. Also imagine how fucking mad Lucy is gonna be in a decade when she has the maturity to actually deconstruct how fucked up some of the things she's been subjected to was.

he literally just asked what's wrong

also gotta say 'stressful is an understatement - having someone you live with and love not only attempt to kill themself but almost succeed is traumatizing. Which I'm pretty sure is what's being shown.

I can definitely sympathize with both Lucy and Jordan, if your sibling had attempted you'd understandably be very worried about them and be extra vigilant to what might upset them-especially if you weren't totally aware of the full story and what exactly triggered them. On the other hand, being treated like some sort of delicate flower or a ticking time bomb that can't do anything lest they have a breakdown must be humiliating and frustrating for Lucy.

@theoktony

I'm pretty sure this is referring to the Halloween chapter where he refused to let her leave without him as an escort.

omg that makes a lot more sense and now i see it written, thank you.

@theoktony yeah its an old doodle that ive not touched for the better part of a year now bc of losing a bunch of work from that file after SAI crashed which I've been seething abt ever since hehe.

Yeah though honestly I really like how each characters actions can go from being in the right to suddenly really unjustified, depending on the chapter which is a very realistic depiction of kids their age since they're still in the process of developing their minds and emotional intelligence.

for real! i definitely agree

did yall think i was DONE being on my sucy^2 bullshit? absolutely not. i am nothing but a dedicated wlw

To give a brief summary of how i see these fankids personalities:

Juliet (Sue/Sandy) is more punk/goth than her moms are!
Kinda showing Auncle Amaya's influence, of course, but also it shows how Sandy grows to accept other aesthetics and bodytypes and lets her kid dress as they wish - like sandy will make SURE her kid's well groomed and dressed to impress, but she'll do it her kid's way, in a way Sandy herself never got the freedom to choose. Still gave them both a heart attack when she came home with piercings she absolutely did not have before leaving for schooll.

Cynthia (Sandy/Lucy)is the soft-spoken, polite sibling, who takes after Lucy in having Mom Friend Energy. Like Sandy, though, she has a hard time slowing down and acting her age, and is always looking towards graduation. "Stop and smell the roses" is not in her vocabulary.

Hazel (Sue/Lucy) is opinionated and unafraid to let you know what those opinions are - when drama happens in her friend group, she tries her best to stay out of it...but she has to give her opinion or she'll DIE-

hello, I'd die for them all
