Good forlorn expression and I like the billowy nature of the ribbon.

i... love...carter....

It's me. Your "just friend". Liam Carter.

lol, Mike's tiny.

"He's this small"

Actually, she's pointing how much longer Mike is, so Paulo's the one with the tiny dick.

/jokeexplained

^They could both have huge dicks with Mike being slightly larger.

Just something that dug it's way into my brain and is leeching away what little common sense I have left.

In our universe (th one where animals are not yet capable of bipedal movement and reasoning and language and such), we already compete over many things like athletic ability, penile length, intelligence, and such.
The webcomic partially reflects our tendencies and nature as much as it dramatizes everyday life. Cats have tails, so maybe the joke is far less sexual than we perceive it to be.

But that's retarded. It's far less funny that way.

love his face after she shows him

"How much bigger is Mike?!" A better, more appropriate line would've been "How big is Mike?!" Him saying "how much bigger" implies that Mike's size is the same as Paulo's plus slightly more (because of Lucy's apparent measurement). That, or I'm over-thinking the fuck out of this, which I do sometimes.

I thought she was reminding him that she can't hear (well) out of that ear, so she didn't hear what he asked.

I mean that is a pretty long scarf.

@Taeshi

The script was hell to come up with, and i know it is not their nature to do thigns like that. however, i tried to convey that Sue intentionally made McCain say it by pretending to be really upset. (first two panels, she has idea) but i didnt want to actually SAY it, that would be dumb.

And i also know its not McCain's thing to be sweet or scared. However, he would react with a lot of surprise if Sue were to come up to him with that question, and have to answer it outright if he didnt want to hurt her feelings (which, was the point of Sue pretending to be really upset, to make him say it) I WAS originally going to have McCain realise Sue was faking it, and say 'its not fair' but it didnt quite fit in...

so sorry, but the idea that they both act abnormally kinda makes it good. plus it sets it up for McCain turning it into sh*t again

if i make another one i'l do better. this was my first time at anything sweet: most of my drawings are dark or gory or dramatic or "steampunk" with no script at all, so this was a huge stretch for me.

Oh and also, no matter how non-whiny girls get, they KNOW that they got you where they want you when they start crying (even if it isnt real) which annoys me to no end ¬_¬

Sue should not be an exception

GIRLS KNOW!!! they frikking KNOW!!! men are idiots and they KNOW!!! they can get us to do ANYTHING THEY WANT and they frikken KNOW IT!!!!

lol, fifth in a row...

finally, Sue is smart enough to KNOW (damnit) that McCain will never say anything like that without having no choice. Hence her pretending to cry.

o_O

Taeshi's critique had me thinking otherwise

Mc Cain cute!

Maybe he never said it because he thought it was obvious and didn't understand that those kinds of things are that much better when it's obvious.

The twist is it's Jordan. He will do to the scarf what you always do to a powerful artifact that could fall into the wrong hands. Put it in a museum.
