So, I decided to draw Augustus from Bittersweet Candy Bowl dressed as Vincent from Final Fantasy VII for fun ^^. He's always been called the Final Fantasy cat, so I thought to draw him as an edgey Final Fantasy character. Then I checked the booru, and already saw that people have already drawn Augustus dressed as Sephiroth, and decided instead to go with Vincent, who may be even edgier

Oh, and also, I consider the relationship between Lucy and Augustus to be of best friends, like how Mike and Lucy used to be in the REALLY early days of BCB, before there was any drama. Except that Lucy and Augustus don't have any romantic interest in each other, and can just be really good friends. I do wonder how the next few pages will go though, as Lucy has finally met Augustus after she just got back.

Vincent is like the step-dad Sephiroth never had... so maybe that's where Sephy gets his edginess from.

A work in progress (a crossover, if you can tell).
Playing around with shadows and overlay styles. This is too dark, so it won't be final, but looks interesting, I think.

A pal of mine called them "mutant-cat-dwarf-people" (well here you go, my art finally has a definitive style, i guess. Perhaps I need to change the way I draw bodies...) and said it reminded him about a recurrent idea/creature that haunted his childhood nightmares.

I do like creepy, but please don't have nightmares becauses of my art... ;-;

tho they have fur, so... I dunno

@CR when animals get cuts or stitches, it can take time for the fur to grow back. or not at all, i know that my 2 dogs' spay scars are still bare even tho fur is back all around their stomach. and when they get scabs from playing rough the fur is missing on there for a couple days, depending on the wound
