Well, I wonder how long their relationship is going to last. since most LDR's don't last that long. and the fact given that they live in different worlds (sandy is rich, he isn't etc.) and that they are teenagers which puts even more stress on the relationship. Also, you would have to remember that they haven't seen each other in person since the third grade, people tend to change over such a long time too.
Personally, I don't think it's going to work for long. That's just my two cents

Taeshi and SuitCase were the same way for years, and what do you know, Taeshi is living over in Australia. Two friends of mine are in a long distance relationship right now. My brother was in a long distance relationship with his wife for quite a while, and now look, they're married. Sandy's been loyal for years, and Mike's making an attempt. Even if people don't like it, as long as they're willing to wait, they can make something out of the relationship.
