The reason Daisy is poked fun of is that in Mario Kart: Double Dash!, every time Daisy would pass someone, be passed, win, lose, or honk, she would say “HI IM DAISY”

Paulo seems to be.. drinking soda from a cardboard little box-thingie like juice. IT WAS MEANT TO BE A CAN SHUTTUP.. and if it’s a can, why is he drinking it with a STRAW. What a closet pansy.
And OH GOD YES Carter finally appears. I really don’t know when he might reappear again.. call it a mystery. Carter is a mysterious chum, he sure is. Full of wonder and wisdom. And he loves Lucy. Also they’re giggling at the “Hi! I’m Daisy!” bit at the end because that references Mario Kart Double Dash.. research it on wikipedia if you still don’t understand! Also realize that she was teased for that in the first comic and a few more times in earlier comics by Lucy.. so you could call it a retired running joke revived once more.
